There's a place close to Heredia that you can do in one day visit, it's call Finca Vikingos, they have an easy close to nature trail between coffee fields that takes you to a view point to our central valley. Entrance is about $8 per person and they offer a picnic opcion for $20. Is a safe and really nice finca.
