The artist house or Baan Silapin is a unique riverside house with a nice ambience of old canal and local neighbourhood. The traditional Thai puppet show is performed at 14:00 every day except on Wednesday. On a small wooden stage in front of the white stupa, intricately-made puppets are manipulated by several artists all dressed in black. It's fascinating how the story captures your imagination; your brain erases entirely the performers in black and soon the puppets take on a life of their own. ด้วยความต้องการที่จะอนุรักษ์วิถีชีวิตของชุมชนริมน้ำและเผยแพร่ผลงานศิลปะไม่ให้จางหายไปตามกาลเวลา ทำให้คุณชุมพล อักพันธานนท์ ชักชวนเพื่อนฝูงจากรั้วศิลปากร มาร่วมด้วยช่วยกันบูรณะบ้านไม้อายุกว่าร้อยปีที่มีพระเจดีย์ย่อมุมไม้ 12 ตั้งตระหง่านอยู่กลางบ้าน ให้กลายเป็นบ้านที่รวบรวมผลงานศิลปะ ภายในบ้านมีงานแสดงภาพวาดสีน้ำมันที่บอกเล่าวิถีชีวิต|ริมน้ำของชุมชนริมคลองบางหลวง ปสการ์ดภาพถ่าย งานภาพพิมพ์แบบโบราณ ฯลฯ ซึ่งผลงานทั้งหมดออกแบบโดยศิลปินในกลุ่ม นอกจากนี้ในทุกๆ สัปดาห์ จะมี class สอนศิลปะขั้นพื้นฐานฟรีให้กับเด็กๆ และผู้สนใจ เพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีกับชุมชนอีกด้วย อัตราค่าเข้าชมฟรี แต่สามารถร่วมสมทบทุนเพื่อสนับสนุนได้ตามศรัทธา วัน-เวลาเปิด/ปิด : เปิดทุกวัน เวลา 09.00 - 18.00 น.
