One of the most amazing places to visit if you have never been, it's awe inspiring. Established in 1982 as a National Volcanic Monument after the 1980 eruption for research, education and recreation. Plan your trip and marvel at the beauty and power of this majestic mountain and the stories from those that survived.

This is a day trip. I recommend staying at an Airbnb in the area to enjoy it more and not feel rush.

So much do to from this site. Hike Spirit Lake or Hike the Volcano, Windy Ridge. Enjoy the indoor displays and view the crater.
