Train station, an old London tube train can take you to the Pier Head or all the way to Shanklin. Bus Station, with buses for the whole of the Island. Some buses make changes in Newport. If you intend to go by bus do have a look at their website for deals www.islandbuses.info . Also ferry companies have a combo-bus deal sometimes.

The buses across the island, trains to Shanklin, fastcat and hover to Portsmouth all leave from the seafront. There is a also a car rental garage just up George Street.
