Distance: 10 km by Ferry from Biograd. Benedictine monastery of St. Kuzma i Damjan is located on the hill Ćokovac near Tkon. It is a cultural monument of zero category, and it was built by the Bishop of Biograd, Theodoric, in 1059. Today it is the only active Benedictine monastery in Croatia.

Kraj is home to a Franciscan monastery and a 14th-century church, and there are also a number of small churches in the other settlements on the island.

Ćokovac is the last active Benedictine monastery in Croatia and famous Glagolitic center. It is available to visitors from June 1st to October 31st between 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. or on appointment.
