Appelscha heeft één van de mooiste mountainbike routes van Nederland. Het wordt ook wel de Ardennen van Nederland genoemd waar je heerlijk op blauwe en rode routes kan mtb'en. Het is erg populair, wil je een mountainbike huren doe dit dan op tijd bij Kramer fietsverhuur in Appelscha
