A 10 minute drive from Warrnambool finds Tower Hill wildlife reserve. Tower Hill sits inside a volcanic crater and has wetlands and animals such as emus,kangaroos,koalas,swans and snakes.Guided tours are available from local guides and there is a visitor centre and plenty of walking tracks and picnic areas.

A short drive from Port Fairy, so much nature in such a small place. An extinct volcano, and nature reserve, with easy walks and picnic/BBQ area. Great for families and overseas visitors. Home to water birds, kangaroos, koalas, emus - it's a special place
