Tips from locals
Beautiful park with many hiking trails - long and short choices. Be mindful, it is steep, so even the easier paths include hills. But WORTH it. Also, horseback riding options here too...not easy to get bookings though as they're limited in number and book rather quickly. Another great fun feature…
Beautiful easy 2.5 mile loop to Inspiration point. Dog friendly and kid friendly with horses on trail and stables. Some Sundays host polo matches. Beautiful views of ocean, Santa Monica mountains. Views to downtown & LaX. Gorgeous homes. Nice break from LA city scene.
5-minute drive to amazing historic, beautiful accessible state park. Stop in to tour the property, watch a polo game (yes - on horses!), or a mountain hike.
One of the best places to hike in LA. Easy - to challenging trails and horseback riding sessions offered on the historic grounds of Will Rogers’s estate.

“10 minutes away, this museums offer a very nice facility, a great coffee shop and an amazing gift shop. You will usually find temporary exhibits of current -often conceptual- art. Half of the time you leave the place scratching your head wondering what it all means but, it's sooo convenient, and free:)”
