A world-class collection of historical records and cool artifacts on the American West and beyond -- this free museum is adjacent to the UW Art Museum (also free) and is a wonderful stop.

The AHC serves as the University of Wyoming's repository of manuscripts collections, rare books, and the university archives. Scholars from all over the world travel to Laramie to conduct research at the AHC. The building itself is a unique architectural achievement.
