Public short hole golf course - the oldest in the world. We have some small size clubs you can borrow in the hallway, or you can rent a larger set for £5 at the Golf Tavern.
It's nice to wander through the links and on to the Meadows into town. Take in the views of the castle, Arthurs seat and the beautiful greenery in the city.
Join onto the Meadows. After visiting the shops/cafes/bars of Bruntsfield, this is a nice walk towards town. Also has pitch and putt beside the famous Golf Tavern.
The Bruntsfield Links extends off the Meadows. Both are great places for picnics, BBQ's, relaxing in the sun, or playing a game of short-hole golf. They are popular places to walk and jog and have several good play parks for children. Take your own golf clubs and play for free or hire equipment from the Golf Tavern on the edge of the links.
