Good atmosphere here, bar and restaurant. Right next to The Theatre Royal. Have had superb fish and chips but can be hit and miss!

Gastropub adjoining famed Georgian playhouse with terrace dining, popular for its pre-theatre menu.

Dining room and traditional pub with a cosy fire in winter and large pavement terrace in the summer. Decent gastropub, that has not lost itself, while offering delicious British staples. Pre-theatre menu, and Royal Theatre Bar Bells for theatre goers.

The Garrick’s Head always have four real ales from local breweries like Palmer’s, Milk Street, Stonehenge ales, Otter, Exmoor, local ciders like Orchard Pig and Broadoak’s Pheasant Plucker plus four draught lagers. Extensive wine list and range of Eaux De Vie with at least twenty types of whisky. Decent fish and chips too.
