Cottage is 100 yards from mile-long sandy beach and Minaun Cliffs - among highest in Europe. The Toolis family have lived here for over 400 years. The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. Surf school for all ages. Fabulous walks begin right at the door from easy to mountain hikes. Good for couples and families. Good WiFi. Wheelchair accessible.

Cosy, comfortable cottage, quiet area by the sea,overlooking saula peir. Breathtaking views of Curran mountains.There is a small town called Achill Sound approx 4km away,where there is shops, cafe, supermarkets, 2 pubs, 2 hotels and bike hire. There are other great places to eat approx 12-15km away. Our Cottage is close to the greenway where you can walk or cycle. There is fantastic views along the Atlantic drive from. Clough more to Dooega, where you can see the Atlantic ocean for miles.
