Situated outside of the delightful township of Motueka we have built this tiny retreat and are super excited to be able to offer this unique accommodation experience to others. Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafe, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Our log cabin is located on a 50acre lifestyle farm in a hidden valley an hour south of Nelson and 40 minutes north of Murchison. It is peaceful and private with stunning mountain views and space to relax. With no traffic noise, the only sounds you will hear are the native birdsong and the Little Hope River running gently beside the property. NO Discrimination - everybody is welcome here.
