You can try on valuable samurai armor, helmets, and bridal gowns (kimono)for free. The house is reserved for a group of 3 or more people per day. Please relax as if you were at home. We usually accept up to 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 10 people on request. There is a convenience store in front of the house, which is very convenient.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. 創業は1957年、祖父「田内栄一」が和歌山県田辺市の文化発展のため「愛和荘」という旅館を営んでいました。その歴史と伝統を守り続けるため、孫である「喜重子」が2021年に屋号を復活しオープン致しました。上野山城跡に建つ当宿は、床の間がある純日本家屋です。和室２室でゆっくりお過ごしください。田辺市街を一望できる高台に宿がございますので、朝は朝日を、夕方は夕焼けを、夜は夜景をお楽しみ頂けます。風が穏やかな日は桂離宮の月見台をイメージして作った檜のウッドデッキの上で、縁側の藤の椅子にかけてティータイムもオススメです。この度新設したお風呂、トイレはバリアフリーで広さを取ってありますので、一緒に入浴したり、介助が必要な方でも楽にお使い頂けます。和室の１室にpopin.aladdin(プロジェクタ付照明）を設置しました。襖に投影しテレビや音楽、映画などをご覧頂けます。朝お出かけの前にyoutubeでBGMなどをお楽しみください。宿の隣に両親、田内喜三、淑子（日本人）が住んでおりますので、何かありましたらいつでもお声掛けください。

Kumano house

between kamikura shrain and hayatama shrain at the walk 10min. It takes 15min by walking from house to JR Shingu Station. There isn't anyone in the house. You can relax very much. Other things to note. This place has an official permission from local government and satisfied fire safety as a short term rental accommodation. Please note that we have legal obligation in Japan to request copy of passports.
