It is a lodge in the mountain which refurbished the old building and has a stay production base for artists. The name of the lodge is "Kumoma". Our lodge is in Koguchi village, which is located in the mountains between Hongu and Nachi. It is popular with hikers on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. For breakfast, we serve simple things such as toast, drinks, fruits, etc. It is rare in the mountains,but you can buy some food because the small shop is in front of you.

This is a private rental inn in an old private house renovated by the children of the free school "Kuma Nobi" with crowdfunding. By staying here, you will be supporting the free school. Please relax in an environment surrounded by nature. It is located 10 minutes by car from Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, and we can pick you up and drop you off. Dinner is a very large meal made with local seafood, meat and vegetables. We also sell bento boxes for lunch the next day.
