It is a small space of about 10 tsubo, but it is a historic old house wrapped in soft and colorful light, and I hope you will have an experience that sharpens your various senses. It is a quiet residential area, so only those who follow the house rules can use it. There are many things that are dangerous for children, so we do not allow children under 13 years old, including infants. * As a general rule, this building is not allowed to enter other than guests. * We renovated an old Japanese-style house, which used to be a tea room, for use on Airbnb. The architect was Suzuko Yamada. * As a rule, this building is not open to non-guests. *

Rock Forest Hokuriku Izawa [BBQ in the fireplace in the forest & hot spring bath fed by a source spring on a rock]

Entire building as a private villa for all 1000 ㎡ in 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We will provide you with each "way to spend". After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon.
