Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Old biscuit factory. Myrthe

There is an old biscuit factory in the picturesque village of Molkwerum on the Frisian IJsselmeer coast. Until 2015, the " Molkwarder Koeke" was baked here , it nog is baked in Joure. We bought the building in 2015 with the idea of making appartement in it, this finally happened in 2023. First we starten with 1 ( appartement Myrthe) and in 2025 the 2nd was adder ( appartement Sterre) The old bakery is in a quiet placemat in the middle of the village on the village canal.

Great and spacious chalet (40m2) furnished for families of up to 3 kids. We are a family of 4 (girl of 6 and 4 years old) who likes to share their lovely quiet place with other young families and/or couples. The grounds where the chalet is located, the Koggeplaet is a nice and small-scale park whose marina is located directly on the largest lakes of Friesland: the Fluessen and the Heegermeer. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped large kitchen. The kitchen gives access to the large terrace, where you can eat/BBQ outside at your own private terrace.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!
