Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

The Studio is a contemporary eco building, cosy whatever the weather, with a wood burning stove. It has been designed by award winning architects Rural Design. The Studio is close to The Cuillin mountains, Talisker Distillery, Loch Bracadale. You can walk out from the studio directly into the landscape to the beach, sea cliffs and beautiful birch woods. The inside is thoughtfully and beautifully designed. A great space for couples and solo adventurers. We offer wifi internet connection.

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).
