Nice cottage by Lake Mälaren

Nice house with large living room and kitchen with open fire, bathroom and 4 bedrooms. Perfect both in summer and winter. There are extra mattresses as well as a guest house and sauna building with extra shower and toilet. Fiber is available, which makes it also suitable for working from here. Close to nature plot with lawn for summer activities. Approximately 150m to the jetty with boat (3.5hp) for fishing and swimming and kayak for 2p. Lovely 4.5 km running trail around Björsund, see the guidebook. Large terrace with barbecue and ping pong table.

Comfortable accommodation in newly renovated apartment close to a farm with sheep, horses and chickens. For those who want to enjoy proximity to swimming, fishing and boating, the lake Mälaren is only 600 meters from the property. Dispose of rowboat and life jackets in agreement with hosts during summer season. Some bikes are available in various sizes. From the farm, depending on the season you can buy fresh eggs, honey, fruits and vegetables. Examples of excursions by bike are Mälsåkers Castle (about 4 km) or Åsa burial field (about 1 km). Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Fresh guest apartment in the best area in central Strängnäs with a double bed and the possibility of two extra sleeping places (a little smaller) in the sofa bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine. Here is very quiet with a lake view and at the same time a stone's throw from the cathedral with the possibility to walk down to the pier for swimming or fishing or taking a walk along the promenade. Surround by forest, fields and a rich wildlife right next to the house. Don't be surprised if you see moose, deer, cranes and many other wildlife from the porch when you eat breakfast. There is also the opportunity to book several different activities such as game safaris, clay pigeon shooting, bow shooting and lots of garden games to do on your own.

Guest apartment next to the lake Mälaren

The guest apartment is on top of our double garage. The place is about 40 sqm, and the ceiling is quite low at some places (please check the photos). We live in a house about 50 meters in front of the apartment. From the apartment you reach (by foot) the train station in 3 minutes, the city center in 10 minutes and the dome church in 5 minutes. We have bikes, skate ramp, SUP and other things if you wish to borrow :) Towels and bed sheets are included.

Located centrally in cultural district and close to Lake Mälaren. Access to garden furniture. 7 min walk from the station and the city center. 85 km from Stockholm where you easiest go by train in 48 min with Mälartåg. A home suitable for overnight stays and simple cooking.

Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.
