One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the second floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Close to the dolomites mountains but not far away from the popular towns of Bolzano and Bressanone it is an ideal starting point to explore the region.

Here you will find one thing above all: peace, relaxation & pure nature! The apartment is on the 4th floor of a quiet residential building in the immediate vicinity of the city. There is NO elevator in the house. On foot you can reach the parish church and the pedestrian zone of Bruneck in less than five minutes. The valley station of Kronplatz is a five-minute drive by car. A bus stop is very close. The accommodation is good for sporty couples, families with kids as well as business travelers and solo travelers.

Stachelburg residence - living within historic walls

15 minutes from Bolzano and Merano is an elegant 65 sqm apartment on two floors with a separate entrance, consisting of a living room\kitchen, a bedroom (full bed) and a bathroom, to offer you a comfortable stay. The apartment is in a suitable location to reach the famous Christmas markets in a few minutes. The apartment is in a 16th century castle. On the ground floor of the castle is a small restaurant, where you can spend a nice evening.

From the terrace you have a wonderful view to the castle, over the roofs of the town and to the big mountains of the Alps. Our apartment is about 70 square meters and is a 5-minute walk from the center. Break away directly from the house into nature for a walk, hike, or Nordic walking. 5 minutes by car and you reach the Kronplatz (ski resort). The local tax is €1.75/night/person and is required upon arrival. From January 1, 2024, the local tax in Bruneck will be €2.50/person/night.

The Essence apartment is an open space with a double bed, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, an equipped kitchen, a large balcony, and a veranda overlooking the house's garden. The south-facing balcony gives you a great view on the Dolomites and the Kronplatz, just 10 km from the apartment. Bruneck, the main city of the Valley, is located about 5 km from Pfalzen (pullman every 30 min).
