Although completely remote and secluded, this cottage has been recently refurbished with a cosy homely feel and has all the modern amenities needed including unlimited WiFi, luxury shower and log burners. Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

From the moment you step through the door your relaxing break will begin. In the garden there is also private Hot Tub underneath a secluded pergola and access to the River Esk is via the back garden.

A self contained 1890s sandstone barn finished to a high standard in a unique space. Guests have the entire place and private access. Situated close to J42 of the M6, a perfect stop off on long journeys or an extended break exploring the North Lakes, Hadrian's wall, the Scottish borders or the historic city of Carlisle.
