Idyllic detached retreat in Shapwick village.

“Surely the best turned out Potting Shed in England”.... from Alastair Sawday’s book “Go Slow England”. The ‘Potting Shed’ is completely separate to our own 400-year-old family home. As guests you have your own entrance door and key to enable you to come and go as you please. It is a charming, safe and secure, quietly situated double room with modern en-suite. Coast, countryside and towns at your fingertips

Recently refurbished one bed accommodation suitable for up to four people (and one well behaved dog) but please note 3rd and 4th guest will be using the sofa bed in the living room. Use of the wc and shower is accessed via the main bedroom. Plenty of storage for our guests is available and there is a large patio area with barbecue and table and chairs for your sole use. There is also one off road parking space available. We have great links to the Jurassic coast, market towns and Country walks

About 6 miles from Glastonbury with choice of either twin beds or double bed it is close to Somerton, Sreet, Glastonbury, Castle Cary and Shepton Mallet , A single storey property, with own access and entrance ideal for 1-2 persons with plenty of off road parking. Set in a quiet village location,with local pub, mini supermarket and petrol station it is just minutes from the A303 and A37 and an ideal base to use, to tour this lovely part of England. We provide milk on arrival +tea & coffee.
