Our new renovated 85 square meter cottage is charming and welcoming, surrounded with beautiful Icelandic nature. The cottage is located at the top of the slope with a mountain, lake and woodland view. Direct access for nice hiking or romantic walk to the salmon river and the lake. It is close to many attractive destinations worth to visit. All beds are brand new and comfortable and heat in all floors. We wish our guests to feel like home and enjoy what the cottage and neigbourhood has to offer.

Only 80 km from Reykjavík, 10 km from Borgarnes and a perfect location for day trips to the west or south, like Gullfoss, Geysir, Snæfellsjökull, Hraunfossar or Glymur. Beautiful hiking possibilities in the neighborhood. In Borgarnes you can find gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants and a swimming pool.

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

The lounge-dining area features high ceilings with exposed beams, enhancing the sense of space. A large, comfortable sofa and reclinable armchair are positioned around a coffee table, with a flat-screen TV and a wood burner nearby. Our cozy cottage is located 30 minutes drive outside of the town Borgarnes. The cottage consist one bedroom and a sleeping loft, living room with a sleeping sofa, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Oddsstaðir is perfectly located for exploring West-Iceland and the Golden circle. We offer shorter private tours on horseback. Peaceful area with a nice view.
