Within walking distance there are taverns as well as traditional shops. The village museum is within walking distance and the parking lot. The village is very picturesque and beautiful and is close to many beaches of the island (Ammopi 10 minutes) and the distance from the city (Pigadia) is only 15 minutes.

Axoni Windmill House

Built on an idyllic ridge, it provides a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view. This traditional windmill was built about 300 years ago along with about 35 others on the same ridge, most of which have only their stone carcasses left. The living room of the house is dominated by the mechanism and the axis of the mill, the wooden beams with the roof of soil and the fireplace. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 full kitchen.
