The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even much further. Although the cabin is located on top of a hill, it is located on a farm, where sheep and lambs graze nearby. The cabin has a distinctive character, is more than 100 years old and has, among other things, a large, carved Viking ship model hanging from the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and a new kitchen with all the necessary equipment.

You live in the middle between Stavanger 1 hour and 30 min and Bergen 2 hours and 30 min.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.

Auntie Laurentze's house

Unique, small house from 1899 with room for five people. Modern, warm and comfortable, so we keep the comfort, but old enough to keep the charm. There is only one house between Laurentze's house and the cinema. If you want to have breakfast in the green, you can make yourself a coffee in the kitchen, and walk two minutes away in the City Park and enjoy it on a green bench there.
