Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min and Friðheimar the tomato farm 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us also. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

A small river with trout fishing is nearby and our guests are welcome to fish (included). We have a lot of horses and guests are welcome to take a look.

The house (HG-00002635) is centrally located in southeast Iceland, close t the Golden Circle and to all major attractions and places of interest, beautiful nature all around. It is located in the small town Fludir, the last house on a small, dead end street, very peaceful. Great mountain view and good opportunity to see the northern lights in winter. Ideal for big families or groups. Outdoor swimming pools nearby, organic, fresh products from local farmers and grocery store in town.

Jóhannshús stands in a spectacular place with great view over Stóra-Laxá river, Langjökul glacier and a rig of mountains. Placed on a family horse farm 10 km from Flúðir village, close to the Golden circle. Very good geo thermal heating in the house. Hot tub uses also geo thermal water.
