The house is only a 7 min drive from Laugarvatn village, where you can find a supermarket, restaurants, Fontana spa, swimming pool and a gym. The view is stunning. The house is spacious (105 sqm) with three bedrooms, a big living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a big patio with a hot tub.

Outside there is geothermal hot tub always on. Fully equipped kitchen, and outside BBQ. Located on the Golden Circle near Geysir. Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter.

Skeiðháholt is a beautiful country villa in the south of Iceland. The house is newly decorated and all the beds are new and comfortable. From Reykjavík is 71 km so it´s only one hour drive by car. The next town with all the necessary services is Selfoss only 24 km, 20 minutes by car. The villa is very well located with famous places near for example the famous waterfall Gullfoss, the geyser area Geysir, the national park Þingvellir, the volcanos Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull and more.

This is our cozy cabin (Lækur) in „Litli-Klofi“ with great views and beautiful surroundings. The cabin is very close to the famous volcano Hekla. It is only a 103 km drive from Reykjavik and 28 km from the town Hella. The cabin location is perfect for day-tours to see the best tourist attractions in South Iceland like Hekla, Landmannalaugar, Seljalandfoss, Thjofafoss and the Highlands of Iceland.
