It also has a full kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, and a living room that includes an air mattress sofa/sleeper. It sits on a five-acre lot with private access to the Olympic Discovery Trail for your biking and hiking pleasure. You can use us as a base to explore the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park. The Dungeness River Nature Center is within easy walking distance.

On a quaint country road with views of the Olympic mountains to the south and the Salish sea to the north you will find a 5 acre sheep farm that we call (with a nod to the Scottish tradition) the Crofts. Our Katmoget Croft is light and airy with high ceilings, quirky decor and windows on all sides that frame the pastoral surroundings. It features a well-appointed kitchen with bar seating, comfortable queen bed, flat screen tv, starlink internet, and large patio/outdoor living area.

You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place in a picturesque setting. You will feel like you have stepped back in time. But thank goodness you will have all the modern amenities and creature comforts. Large patio with BBQ and porch swing, a second story deck with a territorial view and view of the Straights. Lots of cowboy and Indian artwork depicting the exciting wild west! The internet is very spotty and works best if you use your phones hotspot or personal ATT device.
