Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

A serene infinity pool is positioned on a balcony with panoramic views of lush, mountainous landscapes. Vertical wooden slats provide a subtle enclosure, allowing natural light to filter through. Mist rises gently from the water, reflecting the surrounding nature and enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.
