“Surely the best turned out Potting Shed in England”.... from Alastair Sawday’s book “Go Slow England”. The ‘Potting Shed’ is completely separate to our own 400-year-old family home. As guests you have your own entrance door and key to enable you to come and go as you please. It is a charming, safe and secure, quietly situated double room with modern en-suite. Wedmore village with 3 pubs, deli, Indian, cafe and shops is only 1.3 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol too. Somerset is a great county to explore with its hills/levels, historic sites, nature reserves, coastline and local cider makers. SORRY NO PETS. Week/month discount.

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

The Piggery is a tranquil, stand-alone wood-cabin in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Ideal for short breaks for those who want somewhere quiet and like to get out and about. Situated on our organic small-holding, it has a kingsize bed, ensuite, a TV, wifi and kitchennette facilities - kettle, microwave, fridge. We're 8 mins from the M5, with Taunton, Glastonbury, Street and Wells a few miles drive. Our village has a pub that serves excellent food and a convenience store 2 miles away.

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Newly converted old stone barn sitting in the beautiful garden of a family home. Situated in a peaceful Somerset hamlet, close to the county town of Taunton. It is next door to a Domesday church, and the local pub is a five minute walk away. The property is about 1 mile from the Pontispool equine sports centre and 5 miles from Bishops Lydeard Station on the West Somerset Railway. Oake Manor golf club is about 1 mile away and Junction 26 of the M5 is roughly 3 miles.
