Circa 1901, this historic train carriage has been lovingly restored with the highest attention to detail. Nestled on 10 acres of natural surroundings this beautiful property is located only 3 minutes drive from the historic village of Mundaring, 15 minutes from the town of Gidgegannup and 20 minutes from the Swan Valley with its vineyards and tourist attractions.

We welcome guests into our home only 1km from Kalamunda Centre at the start of the Bibbulmun Track. Our self-contained upstairs suite comprises bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchenette and large private balcony with an uninterrupted view of our Regional Parkland. We have an acre of garden with a variety of native and exotic plants, which Linda will be pleased to show you around. There are several signed walks in the area, plenty of cafes and restaurants in town, wineries and orchards close by.

Vermillion Skies - listen to nature sing

Relax, unwind, take in the expansive views of Perth City and Swan Coastal Plain. The property is on the Swan View escarpment, giving sweeping westerly views and captures amazing Sunsets that turn the skies an amazing Vermillion Red. Next door to John Forrest National Park, and don't forget to check out the many hiking and heritage trails. Just a 12 minute drive to the Swan Valley Restaurants and Wineries, and Caversham Wildlife Park. Regrettably children under the age of 12 are not allowed.

Combined the three units can accomodate 22 guests It has a well set up kitchen with pantry, four element electric stove, good sized fridge and freezer, large comfy lounge and enough crockery and cutlery to cater for up to six people in case you have visitors call in.
