Nature et al. House is a one-story house with two bedrooms. It is a family accommodation in a rural setting, 3 km from the village of Batalha. Our accommodation is very suitable for guests seeking the tranquility of the countryside and close contact with nature. In the morning, it is possible to wake up to the lively chirping of the birds that circulate around the house and in the afternoon enjoy the sunset on a sun lounger in our garden. We are a family run hobby farm (quinta), about 30 minutes outside Lisbon. The studio for guests is newly renovated. The property itself is very relaxing and restful, you will wake up to the birds chirping! Great for friends/couples/families looking to relax by the pool, hangout with animals (currently home to goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, a cat, a dog, and a turtle), pick their own fruit, do some gardening, play a game of pool or pingpong, drinks by the bbq, yoga in the front yard, etc.

House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.
