This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. At our location Almwiese there are 2 cabins about 5 minutes' walk from each other. Each of the two cabins nestles into its own cozy corner of the expansive meadow. From time to time, Japanese cattle graze in a pasture belonging to the neighboring farm.
