“*** Strongly recommended! Amazing stay in this apartment perfect for couple and even with kids (we had one teenager with us and it was perfect)...2 bathrooms, seperated bedroom + one pull out couch to use as second bed. Full kitchen with all accessories and even a dishwashing machine (yeah) 7 minutes walk to market place to do your grocery. 15 minutes walk to Somerset long beach. Few steps from buses routes #7 and #8 that will take you straight to Royal Naval Dockyard (or about 1 hour walk) or Hamilton to experience the city. Few steps away from the famous rail way trail to walk and go explore the area. The garden of the house is gorgeous and big with a view of the sea at one end with long chairs and benches to relax everywhere. You also have a private patio at the apartment. There is a swimming pool with a turtle pond just beside it and the turtles friends were very funny. We used the BBQ many times, just beside the swimming pool, very nice. Cheryl-Ann was a great host, started us up with breakfast items and bus tickets to use, she is very nice and helpfull with local tips. Be sure to rent a scooter at least one day to be able to go everywhere on the island as you please. Even if costly, it's worth it. Have a Bermudaful day!!”
Welcome to our beautiful beachside studio, the Ledges. It’s located on over an acre of property in the rustic west of Bermuda. Take strolls on our country road to the local farm. The bus stop is steps away to take public transportation to Dockyard or to Hamilton. Or spend your days on the property at one of 2 private beaches. The Ledges studio is an architectural gem with exposed beamed ceilings, a cozy fireplace for chilly evenings, and a modern fully equipped kitchen. The studio has its own private, large upper deck for entertaining or relaxing where the sunsets are just stupendous!!! Airport pick-ups and island tours can be arranged through your host.
“If you are looking to land in Bermuda and relax on your own small private beach and cook meals to be enjoyed on the rooftop deck then this is your spot. Everett picked us up at the airport and brought us to the market. The kitchen has everything you need and some extras like condiments etc. the rooftop patio is wonderful and has a beautiful view day and night especially sunset. There are other beaches, playgrounds, and the Dockyard a short taxi or bus ride away. Hamilton is best reached by taking bus to Dockyard then beautiful 20min ferry ride in our opinion, but personally I come to Bermuda for the beaches and not the city. Kim and Everett are very welcoming and helpful hosts. The lawn is beautiful and rare to find in a rental in Bermuda. It rained many of the days were were there, but we still managed to have fun. This is on the far west end of the island which is 45min from airport and 30 min to Aquarium.”
Welcome ! Come, relax and enjoy our lovely studio cottage, ideally located on the waterside of beautiful Westside road. The property has 140 ft of easily accessible waterfront, perfect for a swim and is also within a 2 minute walk to a secluded beach. The cottage is quiet, airy and is finished to a high standard, offering a very casual luxury. Transportation is easy and the amenities are many. This is a slice of old Bermuda charm, perfect for relaxing and taking in all that is Bermuda !
“This was our first time visiting Bermuda and Marlon was a wonderful host! The small goodie basket was a real treat! Although we didn’t get to meet him, he answered all our numerous questions quickly and even offered to drive us to the grocery store on the first night! It’s a quick walk to the grocery store but just note that it is a bit pricey in there. We went during the off-season but even so the view right next to the water is beautiful. Just take a few steps down and you can swim in the clear blue waters and even sneak a peak at some sea turtles swimming with you! We rented a Twizy during our stay and it got us to see some of the nearby beaches and up to Dockyard where we ferried into Hamilton to check out the city. All the locals we met were super nice. Just be aware that when we took a taxi to and from the airport it’s going to cost around $80 each way.”
