We are on hand to help should you need us, and are happy to provide information, help you make reservations or even join you for a glass of wine if you fancy some company!

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

You will enjoy its large terrace and stunning views of the pond on sunny days, as well as its interior with its soft and cozy atmosphere, and its wood-burning stove for your long evenings.

Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

Quietly, in a hamlet near La Rochefoucauld and close to the RN10, the accommodation at your disposal is an extension of our house. Guests can enjoy the Charente countryside, as paths are directly accessible on foot or by mountain bike. To see nearby: The city of Angoulême known for the comic book festival, the ramparts circuit, the Abbey of Saint Amant de Boixe... Things to do: geocaching with the TerraAventura app, discovery trails and unusual puzzles
