90 minutes from Nagoya. An inn where you can have a BBQ while looking at the clear stream in the secluded Marubara. Tent sauna rental for a fee

The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a place rich in nature where monkeys and deer appear. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a deck facing the river on the second floor of the inn, so you can relax while watching the river, BBQ, swing in a hammock while listening to the river, or refresh yourself in the tent sauna.

Self check-in. Stay in the Samurai Ruins area!

We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. Please refrain from cooking outside the kitchen with a portable stove, etc. License number M180031406

[NEW] Relax in a 160-year-old house | Ideal for groups and families | Maximum 8 people | 150 ㎡ | Free parking for 5 cars

※ Each room is equipped with heating appliances such as air conditioners, kotatsu, electric blankets, etc., but the hallway is very cold. It is a space that retains the good old Japanese atmosphere, but also has modern comforts such as air conditioning and water. During the day, soft light illuminates the tatami mats, and at night, the sound of insects and the wind calms the mind in the quiet. Experience nostalgic Japanese living while chatting with family and friends. It is about 150 ㎡ in size and can accommodate up to 8 people. Free parking (5 cars) is available, making it ideal for group trips. We aim to be a place where you can spend time "organizing your mind" rather than just a "place to stay".
