Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. I offer a vacation rental in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except salt, pepper and oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. Opposite is another (1 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb. When booking the property for tourist activities, a tourist tax is due. The parking is monitored by cameras.

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

Our apartment is located in the green heart of Saalfeld; the historic city center is just a few steps away. The apartment is located on the ground floor with a separate entrance. Nearby are several restaurants, the outdoor swimming pool, and the indoor swimming pool.
