Wonderful place for authentic Italian food. Many restaurants to choose from. If you enjoy cooking at home I recommend going to my friend Luigi's shop Assenti's Pasta. He sells fresh sauces, meats and pasta all made in house to be taken home and cooked. There is also the Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every Wednesday from 9:30am to 1:30pm, year-round, rain or shine.

Delicious authentic Indian, Nepalese food. If you don't like spicy food I recommend getting less than a 3 on the spiciness scale when they ask. I love spicy and a 4 is pretty dang spicy.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park is wonderful. I recommend arriving early morning around opening time and heading straight to the walk about Australia exhibit as this is when the Kangaroos are most active due to the park being quieter. If they approach you on the walking path you are allowed to pet them. This makes for a great photo-op. This is also the only zoo in the US to have a Platypus exhibit!! Super cool experience.
