right off of downtown. It’s hard to believe, but our very own Balboa Park is actually bigger than the more famous Central Park in New York City. Even more surprising is Balboa Park is nearly double the acreage. Central park only has 842 acres. home to many gorgeous museums

Always a fun and memorable! The BEST scenery for photographers and to take family photos. Don't forget to go across the street to walk on the trail, smell the flowers and see unique plants and trees!

We love walking around historic Balboa Park. The San Diego Zoo is located there as well as many museums. It’s also just a great place to walk around, picnic, and enjoy San Diego weather. Grab beer or wine at Panama 66 and sit at their outdoor tables.

Of course, Balboa Park has to make our list. You could take a whole day walking around this stunning spot, and still not have seen it all. Check out Panama 66, a restaurant and bar in the park for yummy food and a beautiful ambiance. Or, stop by any of the wonderful museums!
