Walk to Balboa from the house! Just walk through see amazing architecture, beautiful flora, and tons of great museums. The zoo is also here.

I take every visitor I have here. A must-see. Park along the highway there (you'll see all the cars parked along the beach), walk to the entrance, walk up the road/hill (where cars can still go), then down one of the trails (there are signs). Absolute best views in San Diego, walk back to the car along the beach. Not to be missed.
