A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • I enjoyed drinking tea next to the window each morning and having the most comfortable night’s sleep! Perfect place for us and felt like home!

  • Would highly recommend this location to anybody! The cottage is tucked away behind the house and very comfortable with beautiful art all over. Such a good deal that exceeded my expectations.

  • Quiet, cozy and inspiring place. Good access from the heart of Seattle in 30 minutes by bus. Without a kitchen, I recommend the place for a short stay.

  • A wonderful spot in Ballard, with no shortage of character.

  • We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Brad & Liz's place. It's a cute cabin, and it's fun sleeping in a space full of fabulous art. The location couldn't have been better for our event in Ballard (and for Ballard, in general). Check-in and check-out was super easy, and street parking was convenient/available.

    Nancy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful- great location, comfy bed, cool art all over, and Brad / Liz are amazing hosts! Thanks for the hospitality- I would definitely return!!

  • This place is a cozy artist studio behind the main house. Plenty of space for 1 or 2 people and very quiet and private. I was there for an event in Ballard so for me the location was perfect; just a few block walk.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely space! It’s essentially a spacious studio, but plenty of space. Clean, comfortable, safe, and relatively quiet. Loved the thoughtfulness off the restaurant menu book, all the different books and guided about Seattle, not the touristy stuff but just interesting finds that people have collected. The space has lots of light, heated bathroom floors, heated towel rack, and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I spent my days there hiking and visited Predators of the Heart (highly recommend), so it was a great space to come home to and chill.

    Jen2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, quiet, price, and peaceful. Great escape.

    Michael2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place and clean and stylish. A little studio, but feels bigger with tall ceilings, lots of windows and Erik’s thoughtful use of the space. Great location - safe, quiet, close to everything. Only issue we experienced was spotty WiFi — Erik was very responsive and helped us troubleshoot, but the WiFi was still a little unreliable with several “dead zones” in the space. Doesn’t look like this had been a major issue in the past, so might just be a glitch ran into. Not a dealbreaker - Just did some work in a local cafe instead off the Airbnb. There is a walled off garden space surrounding the Airbnb and it is beautiful, quiet and calm. Loved it! Erik was very friendly and gave us some great local tips since we are moving to the area soon. Very pleasant experience, good value for the money paid. ☺️

    Danielle2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place was great! Very clean and welcoming. Close walking distance to cool restaurants and sights in the city. Erik was very responsive and helpful!

  • This cottage was by far greater than what I had expected! My husband and I first time to Seattle, I was obsessed with our little cottage! From the cute decorations , the little fireplace and a huge book collection! It was so quaint and cozy! The neighborhood was amazing, we took a walk every morning! Such a Perfect spot, we walked everywhere for a bit to eat of a fresh cup of coffee! Highly recommend this cottage!! Enjoyed our stay so much! Erik was a great host, so friendly and personable! He also had great recommendations for everything!

    Tarrah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Having a off-road parking spot is a big deal in crowded Seattle. This cottage is a perfect spot for one or two people. The neighborhood is very quiet but you can hear airplanes flying over. I have sensitive hearing that keeps me awake so I always travel with wax air plugs this did the trick....we will stay here again

    Caroline2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place is in a wonderful neighborhood. His cottage is very thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location, clean, comes with all the amenities you'd need and Regina and Rhys are wonderful host, providing tips on local places to check out. They didn't hesitate to make sure I had everything I needed and that my stay was excellent. 10/10...would recommend! Overall excellent value!

  • The Urban cabin was perfect. Cozy, charming with use of hot tub and yoga studio. Quiet, walkable neighbourhood with plenty of on street parking. Regina’s suggestions for things to do locally were great!! Irwin’s bakery was an awesome gathering place just a short walk from the cabin. 45th St offered lots of dining choices. Our very favourite was the Urban Saloon. Good pub food and bartender Aaron was a wealth of tourist, brewery and sushi information. Thanks Regina. We would happily stay with you again.

  • We have been to Seattle a couple times before, and this place was by far our favorite we have stayed at! Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we loved all the attention to detail and small touches they've put into their place. We can't wait to visit again!

    Jon2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, stylish, comfortable spot in a great neighborhood. I’ll stay again if I get the chance

    Ted2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Sometimes it's just perfect to have it be just the way you'd imagined. What a lovely creation this is! We had a quick one day vacay for a birthday getaway and we loved it! Tophats off to Tipsy! (Sorry we didn't have time to sign the guest book. We are locals so maybe next time!)

    Vanessa2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We have been curious about tiny homes for a while now, this was an awesome chance to get to try it first hand! The place is really nice and we had a lot of fun staying in it and seeing West Seattle!

    Hayden2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience in a tiny house and it was perfect. The attention to detail was impressive.

    Lynnette2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place is groovy and fun. The repurposing of salvaged lumber is attractive and solid. The light is perfect and the bathroom is surprisingly roomy. I recommend it as a nice place to stay if you're in West Seattle.

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard. The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A 15 - 20 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • Adorable space in a great location! Parking was easy. Great coffee shops near by. Ben and Alyson were very helpful.

  • A beautiful and cozy tiny home. It was perfect for our couple getaway. The location was perfect for all the tourist attractions. Everything was clean and so thought out.

    Anita2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Benjamin and Alyson’s home was the perfect weekend getaway spot. The tiny home was stylish and spacious and the neighborhood was fun and welcoming!

    Chelsea2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay in a great location with an awesome host. You must try the local fresh bakery a couple blocks away - yum

    Kate2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Alyson are wonderful hosts. Responsive and helpful, they thought of EVERYTHING, so many small details to make visitors feel at home in their space. The little house is GORGEOUS, stylish and immaculately clean. They did a great job covering everything a visitor may want to know in their well organized binder and when we did have a question, they answered right away. When the weather shifted, we found things we might need left for us outside the door. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and look forward to returning.

    Colleen2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool fun space. You climb up a steep stair case / ladder to a lofted bedroom. Fun for a young man like me or a young couple.

    Burke2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! Ballard is unquote and charming area!

    Audra2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t recommend the little house enough! This place is just as lovely, clean, and cozy in real life as it looks in the photos. The bed is very comfortable and sleeps two easily. The sitting area gave us plenty of room to hang out with a friend for a late take-out dinner. The kitchen is small but has all you need. The bathroom is a little bit of an unusual arrangement (and probably best for couples/people who don’t need too much privacy), but it was a great set up and the shower water pressure was great. (Showers are short because it’s a small water heater, but that wasn’t a big deal.) The house itself is super quiet but still in a great location, with a 2 minute walk to good cafes and a 7 minute walk to the heart of Ballard. Most importantly, Ben was a fantastic host. He and his wife lent us an air mattress when we thought we might need one, and they were super easy to communicate with and very responsive and flexible. I’m definitely going to try to stay here again next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

  • Manuela was very communicative. Loved the style of the decor. Very comfy! In a busy neighborhood, the security locks at the street gate and our apt door felt well thought out. I’d highly recommend.

  • Thank you Manuela, your Airbnb is fantastic. It is open and airy with cozy spaces to relax and a wonderful user-friendly kitchen. It’s also located in a great location. I was able to walk to and from my workshop in downtown Fremont quickly, and I felt safe returning to the Airbnb in the evenings. Absolutely perfect!

  • Manuela's place is steps away from some of the best dinning in Seattle. Not only that but you can easily bus or run on the city trail to go anywhere in town. The unit itself is stylish and clean. I felt at home instantly and loved staying in the cozy unit.

  • Comfortable bed, many pillow choices, Roku TV that is fast and easy, many options to make coffee, pour over, press, and drip. Nice dark chocolate bar. The best is the heated floors. The apartment stays at a steady temperature. Lots of thought went into how it's put together.

  • The location is perfect. I loved that we were able to walk everywhere very easily. Our flight was delayed and Kevin made himself available if we had issues on arrival knowing that we would be arriving at 3am. The Airbnb was very clean, not huge but perfect for our needs. We had the very basics for cooking. I was a little nervous about the elevator after reading reviews but we had no issues. It was noisy due to construction in the area, but that can’t be controlled.

  • Pros: perfect location, easy check in, communication with host. Cons: old building, construction noise at 7am, cramped bathroom. Good value for location, couldn’t imagine being in a better part of the city near the main attractions.

  • It's in a great location within walking distance to a lot of Seattle's most popular attractions. Note that there isn't a specific spot to park, so if you have a car just plan ahead to find a pay-to-park spot. Very clean apartment and very comfortable. Chris was prompt in responding to all my questions and the directions to get the key and find the room are very clear.

  • The very first thing that one notices when you enter this space is just how immaculately clean it is. Having stayed in several Airbnb's up till now this is one of the very first (hopefully not last) that I can honestly refer to as spotless. The check in is seamless and the location is better than I could have asked for. No suggestions for improvement at all from this happy vacationer. Special Note: Every time we finished up a night and looked up directions home my partner exclaimed "thank goodness we got a spot so convenient". That alone was worth the rental to be able to provide that level of comfort.

    Daniel2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Right next to pike’s place market, a lot of food and drink places nearby, super easy to get to using public transportation, quick responses, and building has a gym and pool.

An inviting charmer in the heart of walking friendly Fremont. 900 sq. ft. newly remodeled with all new appliances. A great front porch for relaxing in the open air, full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room, wifi and 55 inch TV. Queen and Full bed. Convenient access to PCC (groceries) and dozens of restaurants and bars all within a few blocks. For the full Guidebook with categories of local attractions including addresses visit; https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20137424/Guidebook
The house was built in 1900 and has been in my family for almost 60 years. It has a beautiful light-filled bay window that overlooks the street and gets great afternoon sunshine. The front porch has been expanded to allow groups of 4-5 people to sit and enjoy interacting with the active neighborhood street. Within 2-3 blocks of the house the neighborhood has an extensive collection of art, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, music venues, grocery store, and an elementary school with newly remodeled playground, and Theo Chocolate Factory offers delicious tours daily. Greenlake is an easy mile and a half walk away - just walk to the Woodland park zoo (1 mile) then across upper Woodland Park to the lake.
Two of the more popular attractions in the neighborhood are the large statue of Lenin and the Troll Sculpture. Both of which are within about 3 blocks of the house. Like the rest of Seattle I really enjoy morning coffee at one of the local coffee shops. Cafe Ladro is my favorite, but Fremont Coffee has a great homey feel and you can always find Starbucks, but Milstead is a wonderful local alternative. In the evening I enjoy happy hours at Fremont Brewery, Shawn O’Donnells, Norm’s (dog friendly) or the Red Door. If I’m in the mood for live music The High Dive and Nectar have a great selection of bands playing nightly.
  • Perfect location for a family, walking distance to bars/restaurants. Close enough to gas works park for the lil ones. 10/10

  • Jim's place was perfect for our family. It was comfortable and close to everything! We had fun playing games and watching TV. Jim provided a very extensive guide of different places to see and things to do in the area. We will most definitely come back!

    Kimberly2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic. I could not have asked for a better location. My co-worker and I stayed here for a few days. My favorite things: - Within easy walking distance to the PCC Fremont Co-op. We walked there get groceries and food from the hot bar when we weren't going to restaurants. If you want restaurants there are SO many within walking distance. - Close to the Burke-Gilman greenway. We went for a run there every day. - COFFEE was provided! This is so important to an addict like me. - I don't usually watch TV on vacation, but we had a long rainy day and it was such a pleasure to relax and watch Netflix on the couch with MAGIC RECLINING BUTTONS!!! So great. - I also appreciated that there was a place for compost and recycling. Yay! - It was generally a quiet and comfortable spot. Perfect for what we needed. Thanks again!!

    Kate2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jim was an excellent host. His responses to questions were prompt, kind, and accommodating. His home is exactly as described: beautiful, clean, convenient. Thanks so much Jim! We would definitely stay here again.

    Ashley2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house is awesome. Jim is great. Stocked with everything we needed. Clean. Easy check-in.

    Ray2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure Jim’s place is perfect! The location allows you to relax and not have to drive anywhere when you want to get food, drink, coffee, enjoy shopping, or meeting up with friends. It truly is a sweet treasure of a place in Fremont. Jim puts a lot of extra touches from the quality of towels, to even the grade of toilet paper. The little things matter and this place has all the best little touches. Thank you Jim!

    Eric2020-01-24T00:00:00Z

Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. We are a mix of locals, folks new to the area and travelers This is a great place for guests on a budget who enjoy sharing common space with locals and other travelers. This is also a great option to anyone just moving to the area.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The room is one of five bedrooms in our house. You will be staying with roommates and other airbnb guests. We have a cozy kitchen, bathroom and living room with lots of light! You can do laundry downstairs ($1 wash / $1 dry), and hang out in our lovely living room. Our house is the tall, dark and handsome type, height / weight proportionate, with a red brick exterior (if you're into that sort of thing). Good to know we are an older home, not a hotel so the aesthetics come with the territory. We're two blocks from Broadway, with a stupid amount of cool shit and buses within walking distance. You can get to the Pike/Pine nightlife in a short 10-minute walk. Broadway has transformed from its grungy gutter-punk needles-and-heroin 90s roots. Maklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The room can hold one person. The room is a converted attic so its ceilings are slopped on the sides of the room. For folks over 6 ft this may feel like a squeeze. The room has closet space, desk and chair, lamps, 4 bath towels, bedding provided, shelving and drawer space, french press, hot water pot, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, TV with basic cable and locked 2 drawer file cabinet provided. The locked 2 drawer cabinet key will be on top of the file cabinet upon guest room check in. Guests should return the key to on top of the file cabinet when they check out from the room. The room door has a lockable deadbolt on it so guests can lock their room when in or leaving the room. The wifi signal is weak in this room so we have an ethernet cord that runs to the room. Guests in this room are welcome to use our living room anytime of the day where the wifi signal is strong. We supply a fan and air purifier in the room that also act as background noise. We find that in a house with several people these can be helpful tools to minimizing noise disturbances. We also provide ear plugs in this room. The room is on our third floor which is a converted attic. The third floor has leah's room, a shared space where an airbnb guest may stay and this room. As we only have one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Due to this we limit the guests in this room to one guest. The 2nd floor contains all of our common spaces. Guests are welcome to use all common spaces in our house. We ask that guests not enter private spaces or any door that is unlabeled. The bathroom is labeled and the kitchen and living room have open door ways. The laundry room is in the basement. Directions will be provided in the house manual after finalizing booking. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping even after a vigorous cleaning. Our building has some elements that disrupt wifi signal (brick etc) so the signal can be weak in certain areas of the house. The living room has great signal and is available to all guests any time of day. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah: Leah has lived in the house since 2011 Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Living with Leah is like summer camp. Her favorite moments in life are (1) when the power goes out (camping time!), (2) summer barbecues, and (3) when everyone wants to have a dance party. She's really good at people. Leah has several part time jobs that range from working as an ABA therapy assistant (therapy for youth with Autism), staff in a young adult shelter, Residential Advisor for High School International students in a dorm setting and driving with Lyft. Leah likes to keep busy and is often out of the house. You are most likely to see her around if you are at the house during late morning/early afternoon or get a ride from her! Andrew: Andrew has lived in the house since 2017. Andrew is originally from florida and loves cooking with butter, playing D&D, world building for games, history, science and spicy snacks. Andrew is pursuing a career in nursing and currently works with international high school students in a dorm setting.
  • Great place to stay, super convenient location and good price. Leah is quick to respond and handle any issues that may arise.

    Jason2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the upper floor bedroom for almost 2 months while finishing grad school. I think Capitol Hill is one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle, so I was very excited to find this place at such a great price. It was such a luxury to be within walking distance of so many great restaurants, coffee shops, the light rail, and downtown. The house is older, like many of the Craftsmen style homes in the area, and is shared with other Air BNB guests. The hosts did a great job of regularly cleaning the shared areas, and have posted fun signage throughout the house to help keep things orderly. The hosts were also very communicative and even checked in on me when the weather started heating up. The room is located at the very top of the staircase (good exercise!) and came with a comfortable bed, two-seater couch, desk, extra blankets and towels, an air purifier, and a fan. The space was very functional and I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a partial view of downtown. I recommend this place to anyone needing a friendly, long-term place to stay in Seattle, and who doesn't mind shared spaces and meeting new people.

    Alyssa2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The space is exactly as advertised and very lovely. It was close enough to the light rail to get to the airport and very convenient. Check in was a breeze too. I arrived earlier than check in time but I could place my baggage in the shared space till I got back to check in. I would stay here again. Highly recommend. And everything was very clean too. From the bathroom to the room itself.

    Melissa2019-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is good

    성욱2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a convenient location. I didn't get a chance to meet Leah or Andrew but can tell from their bookshelf that they must be cool :). The place was really well put together and everything was easy and convenient. I was up in the loft, which I love, but creaky floors might bother some. Definitely recommended!

    Wilfred2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The room and house are very nice and clean. But you have to pay extra for a key to lock your room when your leaving. Therefore you need to have paypol or venmo. I think a key has to be included due to the fact that the owner is not living there and 4 rooms are rented by different people not knowing each other.

    Moritz2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Like a simple room in a nice house, well stocked with all the things.

    Andrew2018-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay here and great value. Has everything one would need (kitchen access, cozy clean sleep space). Shating one bathroom was not an issue despite multiple guests. Walked most everywhere. Very easy access to/from airport via Link train. My experience here was just as I expected--very good! Andrew and Leah do a wonderful job of providing clear instructions for check-in, check out, and use of shared space. This is good because I did not me them in person, though Leah was very responsive via Airbnb messaging. Would absolutely stay here again 👍

  • We had a lovely stay at Beth's place. The private ensuite room was spacious and comfortable, and everything was spotless. Beth was very attentive, she took good care of us!

    Elisenda2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and her friend stayed at Beth's one night and reported that she was friendly, easy to communicate with and that the room was clean and cute. They were in town for a concert and literally were just at Beth's long enough to sleep.

  • Very convenient transport to the downtown area. The room was clean and comfortable, as were the common areas.

    TimandSharyn2018-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beth was an amazing host. It is unfortunate we didn’t get to meet but Dede welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. Our stay was great, the only thing we struggled with was the shower because we couldn’t figure out how to get it hot, but with a little playing around we figured it out! Other than that everything was awesome and we’d love to stay again!

    Surbhi2018-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great value for a comfortable nights sleep. Location was accessible and felt safe.

    Kristin2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I stayed one night at the Ethiopian Airbnb, hosted by the owner, Beth. The home is a very inviting and comfortable space. The room was cozy, the bed comfortable, and we each slept peacefully, feeling very safe and secure. Unfortunately we arrived late due to many delays along the way, so at the time Beth was out for the evening. Though when I called her to request the code to get into the house she responded right away. This morning I had the opportunity to have a wonderful conversation with Beth, she is a lovely woman, warm and open, easy to talk to. If ever we are back in the Seattle area, and in need of a space to land, I will most definitely check to see if she has space.

You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • I had a pleasant stay at this place. I traveled with my family; my spouse and a son, and it was much more convenient that a hotel. Bedding was good, bathroom was clean and easy to use. At the same time, many basic things you find at home like a detergent are all well prepared. Will stay again if I get to visit Seattle.

  • Beautiful place with a great view! Highly recommend Kathy’s place.

    Nia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a wonderful cozy place right behind Kathy and Dan's place. Our favorite touch was the heater that is positioned perfectly at the foot of the bed for those chilly Seattle nights. We enjoyed the view of the city skyline and Space Needle from our window. What a wonderful place to stay.

Private room east of downtown for members of Subud spiritual community, renters/kindred spirits. Quiet neighborhood, Walk Score 95, drug-free house. (That includes marijuana.) Light drinkers ok. No breakfast provided. Two full baths for four rooms. See our MANY reviews and high marks for cleanliness and prompt communication.
Our rates are about 1/2 to 1/3 of nearby hotels, much more private and quiet and in a great, lively neighborhood a long walk east of downtown Seattle. Located 1.1 miles from downtown and yet in a quiet neighborhood, we're across the street from a park, close to wonderful restaurants and grocery stores. People love our house and its charm and energy. It is a sacred space and not appropriate for partiers.
1st Hill/Capitol Hill. Close to world class hospitals, restaurants and night life.

  • Convenient location, clean and homey/comfortable bedroom! Bathroom is shared but was spotless. I did not have time to enjoy the common areas, but there is a large living room and kitchen area as well that seem nice. One of the hosts even reached out to make sure I was aware of a shooting in the downtown area during my stay, which I really appreciated. Would recommend!

    Aricia2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice stay at Paul's place, well located and easy communication in WhatsApp. Could not meet my host during my stay which made me feel more in a hostel/hotel rather than in an Airbnb but no complains at all. I recommend the place.

  • Great space, close to a ton of stuff and good food. I would recommend parking at the garages by Amazon. The garage mentioned in the instructions closes their gates after 9pm. Also, the tub does not have a plug and can only be used as a shower.

  • This place was amazing! Perfect space for all 4 of us. There was extra blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries for us to use. It was super cute! There was a bit of street noise, but ear plugs are provided and they work wonders. It was in a really nice part of town, as well. I felt very safe. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from the Space Needle. The host was also super good at communication! I will definitely stay here again!

The owners communicated promptly and clearly. I appreciated the parking, and the easy self check-in and check out. • Fern's place is clean, private and full of amenities. She responds promptly and is welcoming. The place was clean and nice. Guests have their own entrance with code so it's very private which is highly appreciated (especially for us introverts). There were a lot of amenities as well which rivals any hotel. I highly recommend staying at Fern's place.

    Corinne2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lars is a wonderful person and his place was so comfortable and cozy. It was perfectly what I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I looked forward to coming "home" each day after work. His kitchen is fully + thoughtfully stocked and I was able to cook various meals for myself, which is so nice when traveling. I loved the variety of teas + little chocolates he provided. The place is nice and warm even in Seattle winter, with two heaters and a bed with an electric blanket. There is also a radio that's tuned to a station that plays classical music (24/7 it seems), which was pleasant to play in the mornings + evenings. I recommend Lars' place. It's a treat and he's a joyful spirit.

  • Cute space. Great price. Green. Tiny living. Walkable. If you have back problems it is not for you but the windows by the bed were my favorite. Bring a sleeping mask it gets bright.

  • This place was a perfect and cozy!! Super close to a lot of main attractions in Seattle! Uber trips around the area to go to some main attractions were only around $8 a trip! Trips that were slightly a bit further out were only about $12-$15 a trip! Super convenient! Walking distance to Pike Place and Starbucks Reserve Roastery! It has a sky view ceiling right above where you sleep! The sound of rain was amazing to fall asleep too! Just loved everything :) Door is a little hard to open but definitely not a problem!!! Couches were supppppper comfy!!!!

  • Rachel’s place is charming and artsy. Quick responses, easy check- in. The best thing about Rachel’s place is the natural sunlight. The amount of natural sunlight this place has makes it bright and cheerful. Even if it’s raining everyday and every night. It’s also in a great location. Felt safe in the neighborhood. I would stay here again and my son was sad to leave. He loved hanging out on the patio.

  • I loved staying in Rachel’s sweet home. It is peaceful, beautiful and comfy, filled with wonderful houseplants, great library and lots of good energy. Slept so good in the cozy loft! Location was excellent, cute charming neighborhood central to downtown, easy to Lyft and take public transport, with tons of cool restaurants and bars within walking distance, Trader Joe nearby and I was able to park my rental car on the street easily. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Amazing apartment. Great location. Fantastic view. Great deal

    Wade2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pretty much repeating what most of the previous reviews have said because it's very accurate. This place is a quiet and cozy, little loft located in a great part of Seattle. It even gets a lot of sun in the morning, when Seattle weather permits. Highly recommended for solo or couples. I was traveling solo so it was the perfect size. It's prime location is a great starting point to navigate the city and is near numerous bus stops. I would definitely stay again.

Gaze out at an unforgettable view of the Space Needle from the open rooftop of this contemporary studio. This urban getaway is in a historic building, making excellent use of the space, with hardwood flooring, a clawfoot tub, and stylish furniture.
A cute studio with a bedroom nook that fits a queen bed, (bed has high quality pillows and 1200 thread count sheets!). High quality towels provided as well as bath gels, shampoo and conditioner. TiVoli blue tooth stereo and cable tv!
This studio is in the northwest area of Seattle. It is the most vibrant neighborhood in the city and is within walking distance of restaurants and classic local coffee houses.
  • Matthew’s apartment was super charming. Great eye for ambiance and lighting. Quiet, accessible location on the hill. Lovely vintage building. Rooftop access is a nice bonus. Just enough space for two. Parking is pretty impossible, so take public transit and Lyfts. As a resident of Capitol Hill, renting his place for my parents’ visit, I appreciated Matthew’s ability to make the space feel like it does to live in this neighborhood. Thank you!

    Linda2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is centrally located, easy to access and comfortable. I really appreciated the parking pass that was provided by the host.

  • Great location for quick & easy access to Seattles best spots. Great view from the roof. Easy walk to nightlife. Matthew had some great bar recommendations.

    Brendan2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was clean, comfortable, and centrally located, in a beautiful historic building. Highly recommend to others!

    Lisa2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew’s place is in a prime location in Capitol Hill. I loved how close it was to walk everywhere. While my stay was great and nothing was misrepresented, I did not realized how old the apartment was. It gets very cold and we were not able to heat the unit up the first night because of how dated the central heat is. We even used the space heater in the closet and it was still very cold until we had heat on for about 12 hours straight. The bathroom is also very small and very dated which made it a little uncomfortable. Overall it is a great place and could not be in a better location, but if you’re looking for a modern and comfortable place for short stays you may want to find something that has been updated. The roof deck has some truly unbeatable views though!

Large private room with private bath separate from the upstairs living space. Private parking, laundry, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, Netflix, & DVD. Near park, close to Airport, city bus route : ). We have a couple kids upstairs but we very rarely get any noise complaints. You should also know we have a couple of cats upstairs in case you are allergic to cats. We hope to see you soon! Thanks.
Spacious apartment style room with couches, bed, table, chairs, and dresser. This space includes basic accommodations (toilet/shower, internet, and TV). This space also includes extras (a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker).
Our home is located on the outskirts of the Seattle city limits (near airport). You can catch the direct bus downtown about a block from our location : ). This is ideal for those interested in sightseeing downtown or visiting awhile.
  • We absolutely loved staying at Andrew‘s place! Everything was super clean and really good described! We really enjoyed having a microwave, refrigerator and the coffee machine there! And you get to the airport super fast!

    Magdalena2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was very clean and organized, they had an efficient system of cleaning dishes which was convenient. The host were really nice and this was overall the best airbnb I've stayed at. Thank you Andrew and Anya!

    Kristina2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew was a wonderful host. He saw to my every need. I felt very safe and comfortable in his family home. I will be staying there again if I ever venture back to Seattle. The bus stop was close and very convenient walk. He even drove me back to the airport as a favor! Now who does that these days? That is the kind of person you would be staying with. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Andrew.

  • Left here very upset- upset that we didn’t decide to stay here longer! The room was very spacious, clean, and contained everything that we needed. We were out and about during most of our time in Seattle and didn’t get to meet anyone other than Andrew but even then, it felt like we were staying with a family member. I hope to visit again soon Also, I loved the location and price of this place so I took a shot despite the fact that I’m allergic to cats (they only had a few kittens) I know everybody’s different but my allergies weren’t effected at all! I highly recommend this place and I hope to visit again soon

    Naima2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing stay! Conveniently located with a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Seattle and the airport. The space is absolutely adorable and feels like a hotel room. Very comfortable furniture, amenities, and a nice park across the street. Andrew was super accommodating, providing great tips for exploring Seattle and even helped me out when I lost my luggage and had to get new clothes. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is close to the heart of the Greenwood neighborhood with a number of breweries and bars, grocery stores, and cafes all within walking distance. Located near 8th Ave NW, it's a straight shot to into Fremont and Ballard, 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bicycle. Bus line 28 goes directly downtown and stops less than a block away; it takes about 30 minutes to get downtown by bus.
The basement mother-in-law studio is clean with wood floors. There is a small, simply outfitted kitchen with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, and toaster. There is no dishwasher so dishes must be washed by hand. The large closet easily accommodates hung clothing and a dresser to unpack into. The house, above on the first floor, is lived in by the host. The studio access is through the backdoor into a shared laundry room and storage space in the basement. The entry way into the studio itself is a separate door and key, and check-in is available 24 hours. This house is in the Greenwood neighborhood, located with access to other sights in Seattle: Pike Place Market: 6.7 miles Space Needle: 6.4 miles Capitol Hill: 6.7 miles Golden Gardens: 1.8 miles Greenlake Park: 2 miles Carkeek Park: 2 miles Fremont: 3.2 miles University of Washington: 4.3 miles Washington State Convention Center: 7.2 miles Ballard: 2.5 miles You'll have access to the laundry machine and dryer 24/7. Wifi is accessible everywhere, including the back yard. There is a briquette charcoal BBQ available for use in the summer. Feel free to make use of the backyard and front yard patio. Chairs, tables, and the BBQ may be stowed away seasonally but are always available upon request. Your apartment is equipped with coffee and various teas. I enjoy sharing knowledge of Greenwood and Seattle. Don't hesitate to ask Tyler or Kristin about the area because we hope to make your stay memorable and unique. If you have down time, we can be found at local watering holes or events (or just chilling on our porch), don't hesitate to see what's up!
The place is close to the heart of the Greenwood neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and every day amenities such as grocery stores and a post office within walking distance. The beer connoisseur would find this neighborhood especially fun because of Naked City Brewery, Chuck's Hop Shop, Flying Bicycle Co-op Brewery, Lantern Brewing, and many other in neighboring Ballard. Located near 8th Ave NW, it's a straight shot to into Fremont and Ballard, 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bicycle. There are many great parks within 2 miles, including urban lakes and saltwater shorelines. Although we don't allow smoking in the apartment, you are welcome to smoke outside as long as debris and butts are cleaned up. We are 2 blocks from Have a Heart pot shop.
  • I felt right at home in this little studio. Cozy and private with a nice little kitchen space and comfortable bed. The only negative I would note is that noise does come through the ceiling from upstairs at times, also be sure and read the details about the ceiling heights-I am only 5'5" so it was fine for me but the shower/bathroom ceiling especially is very low! Beware if you are tall or claustrophobic. Personally I love this neighborhood and the space worked very well for me, I would stay here again for sure!

    Zakiah2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Tyler was a wonderful host! We did not see him much but he actively messaged back when we needed help or clarification with anything. Can't beat the price for what you get either. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to travel on a budget while still feeling right at home!

    Kelli2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a really great time here, the kitchen was definitely really nice to have. Really nice location, just a couple blocks from Fred Meyer and a couple buses from everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. Great host, communicative and informative but still gave us plenty of space and privacy.

    Ciara2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and spacious home! Very private.

    Alejandra2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really great spot! I stayed for a month and I had everything I needed. Very close to bus stops and grocery store, Tyler is very helpful and I had complete privacy. One can hear occasional sounds from upstairs but it isn’t really a problem.

    Isobel2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Very quaint and cozy! This den is located in close proximity to all of the best spots in Seattle. There’s so much to do in Fremont as well as the downtown area and everything is 25 mins at most! During my stay we only had a few days of sunlight to really appreciate the locale but I can just imagine how beautiful this neighborhood is on a nice day in Spring. The hose was very responsive and accommodating to any needs and we always felt safe and at home during our stay here. The kitchenette space was perfect for late nights to cook a good dinner or snack after a hard day spent out in the rain and we were always warm in this spot. I would stay here again in a heartbeat just because of how much value is in this space’s location, amenities and hospitality. Thanks again!!!

    Jair2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed this place and felt like home! Thanks for everything, we would love to come back one time! :)

  • I absolutely loved staying at Karen’s place. It was super cozy and was decorated perfectly. She left us beers from a local brewery which was thoughtful. Also she had a cute book that gave us information about the place, it’s amenities, and local places to eat. The only thing I can think of mentioning is if you plan on staying here I highly recommend renting a car because it’s about a 15 minute drive outside of the city. Street parking here is free and easy. Can’t wait to stay here again!

  • Wonderful spot. Private, quiet, unique with wonderful styling and fixtures. Would definitely stay again.

  • Truly a home away from home - I walked in and the first thing I thought was “I could live here”. Tons of street parking, cozy space with lots of light, lovingly decorated with style, exceptionally clean, and a serene bathroom pleasing to the eye. Lovely one night stay in an easily accessible to everything area in Seattle.

    Maria2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's guest home was perfect for our stay. It was clean, private, and had very thoughtful touches that made it feel authentically Pacific Northwest. Karen was a very accommodating and responsive host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

  • Karen’s place is great! There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the space. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but still close to many great spots. I was travelling alone and felt safe. Would definitely recommmend!

    Pamela2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was traveling alone, the community felt safe. Karen was communicative and made me feel welcomed with extra touches like a handwritten note and beverages in the fridge. This was the most stylish home I have stayed in on AirbNb and look forward to coming again. It made me inspired to buy a home and decorate with such character. You can take Karen takes pride in letting guests stay in her space. Thank you Karen!

    Melissa2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • I think all the other glowing reviews state it well: this place is great. Super cute, super clean, super easy. Everything was close and the neighborhood felt very safe (we like walking/biking to spots > Lyfting and the walk to Walrus and Carpenter/ NW Market St felt safe) Bonus: my travel partner is 6'3" and loved that the shower head was high enough for him. This spot, though a studio, feels large and accommodates a tall person very well. 10/10 would recommend.

    Andrea2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Karen was such a lovely host. My gf and I stayed at her Ballard cottage for a quick weekend getaway and we had the best stay we could’ve asked for. The cottage was so beautiful in design/decor and everything we needed was available to us. The spot was so clean and tidy. Above all else, Karen was super easy to reach and very responsive. One of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. I would love to stay at Karen’s cottage again some time. Nothing but a wonderful time!

Welcome! This listing is for a cozy bed nook with privacy partition. This nook is ideal for the budget traveler looking for a place to sleep. The house has two roommates and other Airbnb guests.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Macklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The cozy nook is able to accommodate 1 person. This is a shared space of a 3rd floor room. The guest space is sectioned off by a curtain and room dividers so there is visual privacy. The room has a storage shelf, place to hang jackets/towels, full sized bed, ear plugs, umbrella, bedding and towels provided, shower caddy, locked 2 drawer file cabinet (to store small valuables). The house manual has very thorough information about the house as well as roommate recommendations of what to do in the are. The 3rd floor also has two private rooms. The other side of this nook's curtain is the stairs down to the 2nd floor and the doors to the two private rooms. The guest who stays in the cozy nook space should be okay with hearing noise of people walking past and doors opening/closing. The guest space also has a fan and for the summer months an AC unit. Our strategy of sharing a house with other people is to use fan's, air purifiers and ear plugs to prevent any noise disturbances between guests/roommates. Guests are welcome to use all common areas in the house (kitchen, living room, bathroom). The living room has a table available for guest use for eating or doing work. As we have multiple listings in this house as well as roommates and one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping even after a vigorous cleaning. Our house has structural elements that disrupt wifi signals (such as brick). Our wifi is very strong in this listing area and in our living room. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah: Leah has lived in the house for since 2011. Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Andrew loves cooking with butter, playing D&D, history, science, and reading. He currently works with international high school students in a dorm setting and is pursuing a nursing degree.
  • Great place

    Jingyuan2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was my second time to stay at this place. Leah is such a great host and is always making guests comfortable during the stay. Bednook was my first time experience, but it’s private and enough space for myself.

    Mami2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the "nook," which ended up being a bit roomier than I anticipated, and was a great value considering the location. If you don't have too much stuff with you, and want to live a few feet from Capitol Hill (the most fun neighborhood in the city, imo), I'd stay here! It's a bit like a dorm in that you'll be sharing the kitchen, bathroom, and lounge with others, and there are the occasional cleanliness issues and bathroom wait times you'd imagine, but if you're willing to put up with those it's a real steal. The room, kitchen, bathroom, etc. are very well-stocked, and the host is very easy to communicate with via text. Within 2 blocks are a library, gym, large grocery store, bank, and various restaraunts and retail outlets. Great place to spend my summer in Seattle as a temporary intern!

    Brian2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in an awesome location! It's close to a grocery store and all the fun places in Capitol Hill, yet the house itself is very quiet. Leah and Andrew are very thoughtful, responsive hosts. I could tell they've put a lot of thought into setting the place up to be convenient for long-term guests. The bed nook was cozy and had everything I needed for a month long stay (towels, iron + ironing board, shelf space, etc.). The apartment has great common areas and kitchen (lots of shelf space, cookware, shared spices and staples like pasta, rice, flour, etc.). Thanks for a great stay!

    Maya2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great space!!! Very safe neighborhood!!! I walked every where!!! Super cozy!!! Great host!!!

    Jan2019-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is so awesomely located. Easy walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, as well as Starbucks, Goodwill, nearby laundromats, everything. Hosts provide some food even. Nice. No problem accessing bathroom or shower around other guests and LOTS AND LOTS OF TOWELS AND PILLOWS!

    Jennifer2019-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Leah was excellent. The nook is very cozy and the entire building is decked out in amenities I didn’t even think to expect. I packed very light to accommodate my airline, so Leah saved the day with coat hangers, extra towels, soaps and lotions, and even free pasta and pancake mix. If you are sensitive to noise or light the nook can be a bit loud at times (depending how your neighbor is, my only issue was that they needed to unlock their door a few times once I’d gone to bed,) but Leah does provide a screen wall and ear plugs, so it turned out to be no problem. Overall I had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again!

    Kelly2019-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Personality is different for every person It is place which made small space on the third floor in bedroom It was wider than thought. People in other rooms were also quiet, so I did not have any loud noises.

  • Marian’s place is awesome, really cool architecture and views of the water. The host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and have no negatives to note.

    Gabe2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was a lovely view and a nice quiet place to stay.

    Laura2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This spot was perfect for our 2-night stay. Marian was quick to reply when I needed assistance and always very kind. The cozy get-away is on the bottom floor of their beautiful, modern home situated on the hillside overlooking Alki Beach. Though parking is off-street and appears rather dicey, I did not have any problem finding a spot to park a very short distance from the (separate) entrance of the rental. The rental is a relatively close walk to restaurants but far enough off the main drag as to be peaceful and relaxing. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend walking to restaurants for people with mobility issues but this 50-something had no problem. Once inside the cozy nook, the bed is plush and soft. The clean white lines of the room and simple artwork make for a comfortable, relaxing evening in after dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves overlooking Elliot Bay with the ferries skirting by in the night. The added bonus was being a short drive to Seattle Center (20mins? on a Saturday morning).

  • This was our first visit to Seattle and Marian’s place made our trip even more outstanding! The location is perfect and we had so much fun exploring the Alki neighborhood. Marian also left great suggestions on places to check out in the neighborhood and was super helpful if we needed anything. I would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

Upscale, intimate, modern condo located in the Pike/Pine corridor, the heart of one of Seattle's most desired neighborhoods, Capitol Hill. Access to two major bus lines, walking distance to great bars and restaurants, along with quick navigation to downtown Seattle. With a walk score of 98, the unit is located within walking distance to the best Seattle has to offer. Update! I can also provide a parking pass to make street parking a bit easier. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
This space is unique because it is super clean and located in the heart of Capitol Hill while still being extremely quiet and cozy.
I love the abundance of amazing restaurants, bars, dance clubs, and parks in lovely Capitol Hill. Some of my favorites are Pony, Tavern Law and Rplace just to name a few.
  • Great location! We enjoyed our trip.

Right off of Yesler street. This space provides an open view of the city. Sleeps 2 people in a full bed. Property includes laundry mat and gym. Access to pool table, TV, and vending machine in the common area. Several blocks away there are convenient stores as well as Broadcast Coffee Shop and local bars.
The room has a standard bed, a full size fridge, a coffee maker, a desk & chair, and a private bathroom with a shower.
There isn't much of a neighborhood because the apartment is located right off of the sidewalk and you just enter straight into the courtyard.
  • Location definitely worth the price! Cozy little room perfect after a long day of shopping!!

  • It was my first time experiencing an apartment but it was great! There is no elevator, but the communal kitchen and laundry room are located on the first floor of Building D. When you receive your mail, you can ask the manager if the item has arrived from 10am to 10am!

  • Really enjoyed staying at Charly and Linnea’s place. A very well-designed space with the keypad on the door, so very easy access. They were also responsive in their communications. No wonder their place is usually booked! Fortunate to have found it :)

  • This is a apartment style stay with the city of Seattle nearby. You will not be disappointed with your time here

    Ray2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I are in our 50's and 60's, and this was our very first Airbnb experience. Let me first say, that Charly and Linnea are top-notch, first-class hosts and people! The location of this Airbnb is right next to a neighborhood bar (and Hawaiian restaurant) with the parking lot right on the other side. I am a light sleeper, and I usually need earplugs (primarily for hubby's snoring). So, I was a little concerned about the possibility of late-night bar noise and traffic. However, after reading all the other reviews about how quiet it was - I decided to book. The bar noise was non-existent, and indeed it was extremely quiet. Because you are in a basement apartment - there is noise from above, as there would be if you were staying with friends or family. But, this noise is infrequent and completely acceptable and understandable. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and cozy. I think it was the absolute best solid week of sleep I have ever had while traveling!! Of course, we walked ourselves silly every day - so, falling into a comfortable bed was easy. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed - and nothing we didn't! The chocolates and mineral water were lovely touches, as well as the homemade gingerbread cookies (thank you, Linnea)! Throughout the apartment are original carvings from Charly and beautiful collages from Linnea, and this really made the Airbnb unique and homey. Because we stayed in January, we didn't get to experience the fullness of the garden. I would imagine, though, it would be spectacular in the spring and summer. However, the front path to the stairs down was filled with fragrant hedges and rhododendron bushes. Birds abounded everywhere! And we would advise packing some peanuts for the resident squirrel, who might just come right inside the door (if you're not careful!). Next time we come back to visit our former state, I would definitely book here again. For the money, the privacy, the space and the quiet - there is absolutely NO motel/hotel that will ever compare to Charly & Linnea's! (And, yes, I am talking to you frugal but adventurous travelers out there!) Many thanks to you, Charly and Linnea, for making our first experience and excellent one. You have definitely earned the designation Superhost!

  • This was the perfect choice for my short stay in Seattle. Charly & Linnea’s place is clean, centrally located, and easy to access. I enjoyed the flexibility of self-check in and check-out, and having a quiet space to return to after long days of conferencing. I would highly recommend!

    Stephanie2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Well located near a lot of great places to eat or get a cup of coffee, and an easy walk from bus lines makes for quick access to the rest of Seattle.

    Nathan2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • A clean and comfortable place to stay. Great location with a casual Hawaiian restaurant next door - perfect for take out or eat in breakfast, lunch or dinner. A coffee shop across the street and not far from supermarkets, drug stores and other essentials. The hosts completely respect the guests' privacy but are easy to communicate with. Easy and convenient off-street parking
