A fabulous holiday cottage based in the quiet village of Cheriton, nestled in the North Gower peninsula. The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room and further sleeping space in the upstairs mezzanine, which is accessed by a space saver ladder. The barn also boasts a private garden with patio area and a private Hot Tub.
A lovely self contained holiday cottage which has been newly refurbished. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout. A handmade oak ladder staircase offers access to a mezzanine bedroom above. Exposed oak timber throughout. The holiday cottage has a private garden area and boasts a private hot tub for guests.
The cottage is located at the top of the village which means that there is plenty of peace and quiet, especially at night. The barn is located at the roadside which offers easy access. There is very little road noise though as the road is very quiet at all times. Parking is available next to the barn with gated access onto the road.

  • Such a lovely little place. I stayed for a months placement in Prince Philip Hospital, which is less than ten minutes drive so was ideal. Everything I needed to feel at home for the month! Thanks!

    Lia2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend staying in the apartment. Good location for a base and a cosy place to return to after spending most of our days outside exploring different areas of the Gower. (The furthest drive was 40mins to Rhosilli and Worms Head.) We would happily return in the summer months to see more of what the area has to offer. Kind touches of milk, butter, eggs and fresh homemade bread on our arrival was the perfect start; thank you Martin and Dawn!

    Lolly2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really comfortable stay. Best we have had in an air bnb

    Andrew2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Dawn and Martin’s place. The flat was modern, very clean, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated. Especially, the floor was very clean (no dusty feet after walking around for a few steps). Every corner was very neat and clean. The kitchen was good; the bed was comfy; the shower cube was bigger than it looked. The fresh bread was another warm touch. Martin greeted us, and he was very friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us and has a beautiful view (note that access from the south-east is steep and narrow. There is much easier access on the other side!). Overall, a very nice and pleasant stay. We would definitely try to book again when we come back to the area!

A beautiful, light-filled contemporary space, annexed to our magical 18th century traditional Welsh farmhouse. Situated in one of Gower's secret places, off the beaten track, idyllically quiet yet within minutes of amazing beaches and countryside.
So here we are in a wonderfully quiet part of Gower. The accommodation is part of our charming old farm. We are 20 minutes from central Swansea, 5 minutes from Fairwood Airport, 10 minutes from amazing beaches. Its great for cycling, walking, riding, parachuting, kayaking or sampling local food and drink. We have a small paddock if you want to bring your horse for fantastic hacks along beaches and moorland. If you like starry skies then this is for you!
We live on a quiet country lane largely frequented by the odd tractor, cyclists, dog walkers, horse riders , hares and foxes. Within view of Cefn Bryn and the sea on either side.
  • Lovely place, everything was really well catered for. A very enjoyable stay.

  • This is the second time that we stayed at Wimblewood. It’s a great location for exploring the Gower. It’s clean, warm, stylish and has everything you need for a self catering stay. Including a welcome basket of fresh eggs and snacks and lots of information on local area. Great for a break away with the dog. Diolch

Cockle Shell Cottage is a surprisingly spacious holiday home located in North Gower. This is a designated area of outstanding beauty popular with surfers, cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. Within easy reach of beaches and vibrant city life. Perfect for exploring the Gower, Swansea and further afield.
The cottage is situated in the village of Penclawdd in North Gower. A short drive to the award winning beaches of the Gower and beautiful countryside. The Gower Peninsula a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage is in the heart of the village and shops and other facilities are within easy reach. There is an award winning bistro cafe and Fish Bar on the same street. The cottage lies directly opposite the Loughor Estuary and and is a well known spot for watching sunsets where you will often see photographers and artists. At high tide boats are able to navigate out to sea. The marsh land is home to lots of wildlife including many rare species of birds. There is a free car park directly opposite the cottage with room for all size vehicles. This is a popular stopping off point for people exploring the Gower. A short drive takes you to a number of stunning locations including Three Cliffs, Rhosilli and the secluded Whiteford Sands. The area is perfect for walkers, surfers and outdoor explorers. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £10 to cover the additional cleaning costs. However, we ask that dogs are kept downstairs. The cottage is fully equipped and has a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with twin single beds. A family bathroom with bath, overhead shower and an additional WC closet downstairs. Please feel free to ask any questions. We are always on hand to answer queries.
Plenty of shops and amenities in the village means you will lack for nothing. On the main coastal road so convenient for buses and commuting. Next door to a fish bar and a couple of doors down from Cariad Cafe. There is a supermarket about 400 yds up the road. There is also an Indian take-away, bar, ice cream parlour and pharmacy within 300 yds. The highly popular Rake and Riddle family restaurant/pub is a short walk up the coastal path and allows dogs at the rear of the complex where there is a large play area, outdoor area and sports bar. The village is ideally located to explore the Gower and further afield being a short drive from Junction 47 of the M4.
  • This house is very conveniently situated to explore the Gower. The local amenities including the fish and chip shop next door, the cafe a couple of doors away, the Indian takeaway and the supermarket both short walk away are excellent. The house is deceptively spacious, is well equipped and warm with plenty of hot water. Adam has thought of everything to make a stay there a great experience including welcome gifts for humans and dogs. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

  • What a great place. Perfect location. Home from home. Nice and clean.

    Rachel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely 3 night stay and this wonderful spacious cottage - spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need - all the extra touches were lovely Ty - Great location too!

    Jolene2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our long weekend at Cockle Shell, despite storm Dennis! The property was larger then we expected it to be, and is well-equipped, even having some family board games and DVDs. It is literally next door to a fish and chip shop, a few doors along from a cafe and Indian take-away, and opposite a gelato parlour and children’s play park, so is very well-positioned. One unusual quirk was that the large, front bedroom with a wardrobe and dressing table, and views over the estuary, had two single beds in it. The double bedroom was much smaller, with no space for a wardrobe or dressing table, and didn’t have the views.

    Marc2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was spacious and very well equipped. A perfect base for exploring the Gower.

    Adrian2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Adams place is an awesome place to stay! We were gifted with beautifully subtle seasonal decorations! Candles, wine and a log fire! Perfect on a sunny Christmas day afternoon. The house is palatial! Lots of interesting pictures and information. The walks in Gower are special but very muddy ! I hope we didn’t leave too much to clean! Go here and enjoy the village pub Heather is a gem. Comfort through and through here! I’d live there quite happily! I loved the horses roaming about too. So magical !

    Vik2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage, exactly as advertised, would recomend to anyone looking for a base to explore the Gower.

    Jon2019-10-30T00:00:00Z

Need a getaway or a family break off the beaten path? Dan y Graig is a cosy, lovingly-decorated 3 bedroom cottage with a sunny conservatory, nestled in the hills close to the beautiful harbour of Burry Port. The fabulous beaches of the Gower and the renowned scenery and coastal walks of the Brecon Beacons & Pembrokeshire are all less than an hour away. In the words of a recent guest, "Beautiful little retreat from the world with stunning views." A warm Welsh welcome awaits you!
Dan y Graig was built in the 1800s by local Welsh miners. Originally a four-roomed cottage, it now has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and its own conservatory and viewing deck, which were added to catch the sunshine and enjoy views of the Gower Peninsular (when the Welsh weather permits, of course). Dan y Graig sits in front a beautiful rockery of overhanging greenery and ferns, planted by neighbours whose gardens have won national awards. The new fully-equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, and lazy day bed in the sunny conservatory make a wonderful place to getaway, relax and recharge. As Nicki, a guest who visited in March 2017, said: "You can still walk to the shops and the pub if needs be. The house was really spotlessly clean and we loved the fact there was no TV so it was like a proper break from reality."
Local town: Burry Port has a picturesque harbour with cafes, pubs, and coffee shops: Our personal favourite being Café Lolfa, an art gallery cum coffee shop serving delicious locally-sourced food with excellent vegan options. Theres a Nissa store (CK's) and a well-stocked Co-op for groceries. Pubs are friendly and serve great food. Burry Port Fish & Chips are particularly good, especially when eaten beside the sea or on the harbour wall. Whitford's, in the town centre serves some authentic Welsh food and is currently enjoying excellent reviews from our guests. Local beaches: If you're holidaying with young children, consider visiting places such as the Burry Port Beach (15 min walk down the hill, or 5 min drive) and Pembrey Country Park (10 min drive away). They provide endless hours of cycling, dune-surfing, and beach play. You can also ride horses, ski, barbecue, hike, and swim in the area. The award-winning Gower Peninsular is a 40 min drive away. You'll find stunning beaches and scenery, complete with prime locations to surf and hike. The Gower is unforgettable and is ideal for long days out on the coast. More info provided in our Guest Manual once you book :-)
  • We had a lovely stay at Sarah’s place. Great location and very cozy accommodations. Our 1 year old also really enjoyed the toys and teddy’s left there. Definitely recommend to others!

    Laura2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is lovely and cosy, with everything we needed. It’s a beautiful location with great views and was just up the road from family which was perfect for us. I would highly recommend a stay, the beach in Burry Port is lovely and it’s an hours drive to some amazing beaches on the Gower. We look forward to our next trip!

    Simon2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cottage with lots of space and great views. Parking is fine for one car, a bit tight for two. Great value for money. A very quiet location. Highly recommend.

  • Highly recommended host. The cottage is so nice and peaceful. Had a great family time in Burry Port

    Arthur2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect home for a couple of days but always remind that it is over 200 jears old! Low doorposts and a floor whitch is not always level. Very quied. The beach is nearby.

    Michel2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Dan-y-Craig. Its a lovely cozy house, which is very thoughtfully kitted out, especially the kitchen, which was a joy to cook in. We had a BBQ in a little passage by the side of the house, which worked brilliantly; and could even see the sea from the house. We'll be back. Only caveat is that parking is a little tight for more than one car, but we managed. Good local amenities and great location for Pembrey Race Circuit, where we were working.

    Meyrick2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a lovely part of the world. Found it easily with the sat nav, and the key box made it very easy to access the house when we arrived. The dayroom is lovely for sitting in and there are clear views of the beaches (when not raining!). The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water (the shower is not a power shower but was adequate). The house is lovely and quiet, we slept very well. There are a few nearby shops and Llanelli offers more in the way of supermarkets etc. Pembrey country park 10 mins away was great and we spent two days there at the beach, cycling, playing games etc. The Dolaucothi gold mines (National Trust) are also well worth a visit. An hours drive but worth it and the pub there served amazing food. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would not hesitate to recommend or return. Thanks to Sarah and Vince.

Lovely front of house room with a great view out towards the sea and the Gower Peninsula. It has a Victorian oak paneled library, feature fireplace ( not in use), new cast iron radiator, desk and various chairs. It was the music and study room but with all 3 girls finished with studies now it is rarely used. We usually have fresh eggs for sale and goats milk to sample. Our home was featured on TV in the Channel 5 series To B and B the best, episode 21 if you would like to see it and us!
Comfortable double bed. The library has the original oak paneled wall and a fireplace which is not for use. There are chairs in order to relax, read a book or browse the internet plus a desk for catching up on any paperwork. WiFi and ethernet cable. Private tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary 'welshcakes'. The bathroom facilities are in the cloakroom through the huge luxury kitchen/diner which includes a shower. TV and DVD. A travel cot and highchair is available on request.
Bronllys Farm is one of the original dwellings in the village. We are set up a short hill from the main coastal road. The private grounds of Bronllys Farm are peaceful and private and have a panoramic view over the Loughor Estuary towards the Gower Peninsula that cause gasps of approval. It is a quiet location on the edge of the village with surrounding farmland. This a great base to explore the coast, castles and countryside of the region. The city of Swansea and ancient Carmarthen are within easy access. We have a small convenience store in the village, a Co op supermarket and a lovely pub/restaurant, The Bryngwyn, plus a few other pubs. Nearby bustling Llanelli has all amenities and many large supermarkets. Burry Port with its picturesque harbour and lighthouse has a well stocked Coop supermarket and plenty of smaller shops, cafes and pub eating places. I'll give you a map of the main locations and some recommended places to eat but please just ask if you require any other tips and advice.

The two TV's can show different programmes in case of any conflict! You will find a good number of recommended places to eat and menus in the information folder. The wooden train set is often a real hit with youngsters (and adults if they are honest). Try using all the pieces joined up! The airing cupboard has plenty of extra towels and should fresh bedding be required it is stored under the main double bed (pull up from the bottom). A high chair and/or travel cot can be made available on request. Patio doors can be opened onto the furnished decking area which is a lovely lace to sit and enjoy the view. Please be sure to make a comment in the visitors book before departure. Thanks. Our home, on the same plot, was featured on TV recently if you would like to see it and us!! The city of Swansea and ancient Carmarthen are within easy access and days out in the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire are other options. We have a small convenience store in the village and a lovely pub/restaurant, The Bryngwyn plus a few other pubs. • Bluebell cottage was very comfortable. We arrived in a storm and were pleased that the heating system was very efficient and we soon dried off and warmed up. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and very good value. The welcome pack Welsh cakes was appreciated. Thank you.

  • A cosy hilltop cottage. Well equipped. Ample parking. Nice & quiet. Stunning views. Close to local amenities & not too far from town centre.

    Mark2019-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great break in this comfy & cosy cottage. There are many footpaths that start almost from the door, including of course the Wales Costal Path, so perfect for all sorts of walks. The kitchen had everything we could possibly have needed and being open plan meant the cooks could still chat with the others. An added bonus, the Llaneli Costal parkrun starts is just a 5 min walk away. We would definitely recommend this cottage and if returning to the area would look to stay there again.

  • Bluebell cottages is very well equipped with lots of amenities. It is warm and cosy with lots of space. We enjoyed the local cafe and pubs. • We really enjoyed our stay in Vic and Una's shepherd's hut. It's a delightful spot with a fantastic view over the bay in the morning, and the hut itself is really nicely kitted out. 10/10, would certainly recommend

  • We arrangedour stay at short notice and Vic responded quickly and provided very helpful directions and contact info. We were warmly welcomed, and milk and Welsh cakes were thoughtful touches. The hut was cozy and so pretty, and had everything we needed for our short stay. Overall a fun experience!

  • The shepherd’s hut is a lovely space, very thoughtfully done with lots of nice little touches. The view was wonderful, even on a wet November morning! It did get a little chilly overnight, but the nice thick duvet was great insulation! Vic’s hospitality on arrival was first class and very much appreciated after a long journey. I’d definitely recommend the space for those looking for something a little different.

  • Gorgeous space that allows you to have a quirky little shepherds hut experience with no amenities spared. The hut was super clean when we arrived and decorated in such a lovely and colorful way. Staying in the hut was very romantic, and the wood burning stove made for warm and cozy evenings and nights. This hut is a perfect spot for couples to stay if you want to get away from busy city life and have a nice, quiet weekend in view of the sea.

Ideal location in a woodland setting, a perfect base to explore Carmarthenshire. A small one up, one down, compact, rustic, cozy, detached cottage set in a rural quiet location, next to a brook. There is a pub within a 5-minute walk. Warm in front of the log burner in the winter or relax on a sun-filled patio in the summer. 8 miles from the Wales oldest town, Carmarthen, close to Pembrey country park & superb Beach, Ffos Las Racecourse, Kidwelly Castle, Llansteffan & Botanic gardens
The cottage is compact and quaint with everything you need for a relaxing visit to Wales. The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, a small shower room , a kitchen lounge with dining a table and a log burner. Dvds only. Outside are views over the valley, a patio area looking on to the brook and a chiminea. There are 2 dogs at the property but they do not have access to Brook Cottage. Please note.. The cottage is situated right on a lane, it is very quiet but care must be taken when entering and leaving the cottage.
The cottage is perfectly located, an enjoyable leisurely stroll down the lane over an ancient bridge and river to the local pub. We recommend the local pub, the food is home cooked and the locals don't bite :) There is a shop a mile and a half away with a post office, petrol, and chemist. Also, there are some good places to eat within a 2-mile radius plus very good taxi service. There are many places to visit, the National Botanical gardens are a short drive away and Carmarthen holds the Antique fairs once a month at the Carmarthen showground. The Cynheidre Railway is 2 miles away for railway enthusiasts. You can go further a field, Tenby is only 45 minutes away and a visit to Narberth is a must. The Ffos Las racecourse holds many events each year and is hugely popular. Closer by LLanelli wetlands are worth a visit and so is Burry port with its new Lifeboat station and great fish and chips. • Just wow, lovely hosts in a friendly village, great location base for days out. Great value little cottage.

    Rob2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Keri was there to greet us and showed us around the cottage - she was very welcoming and gave us lots of info about the local area and recommended some days out. The cottage is very cosy, just what we wanted and better than we had expected. They had put out some wine and fresh flowers which was a lovely touch. The cottage has everything you need in the compact space - they have thought of everything! We chilled out by the fire and watch a film, had breakfast in bed and the cottage also has a nice patio area with a BBQ which we used one evening. We used the log burner and Keri was quick to offer help with this. We did lots of exploring but also spent time relaxing and chilling out in the cottage. We went to the Incline Inn for dinner one evening (10 mins down the road walking) and they were very friendly and the food was delicious. We also had a carvery on the Wednesday at the rugby club which again was delicious (about 5 min drive). We visited Kidwelly castle - can explore the castle and has lovely views. Burry Port which has a beautiful sandy beach. The botanic gardens which had an incredible bird show and The mumbles in Swansea which is a pretty costal town. Overall we have a lovely stay at the cottage and would love to return. Thank you so much for having us.

  • My partner and I wanted a little child-free break, and we both had a wonderful, relaxing and chilled out time at Little Brook Cottage. The setting was charming, I enjoyed a peaceful cup of tea sitting outside in the morning, listening to the birds and the brook, it was blissful. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Keri and Kev. They are such generous, kind, and warm hearted people, you can tell from the minute you meet them that they really want you to enjoy your stay and will do all to accommodate you. There were some lovely touches on arrival, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine, which really made it all feel very special. We have returned home feeling relaxed and will always remember the visit fondly. Nearby Pembrey Beach was amazing and we also managed a mooch around the lovely shops in Narberth. All in all, a beautiful few days which were enhanced all the more by Keri and Kev's wonderful hospitality.

  • Fantastic place, the beach is beautiful, a lot of castles and history a short (10-20 minute) drive, Swansea is 25 minute drive for nice meals. The house is amazing, no other word to describe it. Only downside is wifi connection is really poor so tv streaming didnt work or tablet (DVDs are provided though and CEX is down the road where we brought some of our own too).

  • I booked this place for my parents as my Mums sister lives just up the road. Firstly, before they had even arrived they were really impressed with the level of communication from Chris. He gave them so much helpful information and was really welcoming even before they set foot in the flat. They really loved the flat and described it as very modern and well thought out. They found it comfortable and peaceful and it is definitely somewhere they are planing to stay again. They would highly recommend it and I suspect they will stay again next year. Highly recommended.

We would like to welcome you to Pemberley, an Edwardian house set in the sunny seaside village of Pwll, Carmarthenshire. Whether it's surf, walks, cycling, historic castles and towns or just lazing about, Pwll is an excellent base to explore South and West Wales, including Cardiff, Swansea, Tenby and Llandeilo. Please note room price is for a super king-size bed for two guests with sea view. We have three rooms available, priced at current nightly charge per room.
Pemberley is a 5 bedroom house although only 3 bedrooms are available, located on a small lane overlooking the Burry estuary and the Gower peninsula . This listing is for a sea view room with a super king-size bed. We have two cats and two dogs, and therefore are pet friendly. There is a pretty secluded patio area to the front of the house with various garden furniture and guests are welcome to use the chimenea. The area is very quiet, with lots of visiting small birds to the garden and a squirrel or two! There is a pub/ restaurant in the village just a 5 minute stroll from the house and a village shop. For fine dining, "Sosban" restaurant is a must and less than 5 minutes drive or a leisurely stroll along the millennium coastal path will take you right to the door.
Pwll is a small seaside village in Carmarthenshire and is a direct access route to Pembrey Country park, Burry Port and Kidwelly, but traffic is not an issue. The village has a mix of Welsh and English speaking residents, and you will often hear Welsh spoken in the pub and shop. People in Pwll are known as Bonau's which hails back to when the village produced cabbages for Llanelli and Swansea markets and roughly translates to cabbage stump because it's said that's all they had to eat! The area has a rich smuggling history and has stories of ghost ships on the estuary. Amelia Earhart the first woman to cross the Atlantic by air landed her plane safely on the estuary in Pwll.

"Pine Tree Cottage" is a great seaside retreat, with the Millenium Coast just under a mile away and the Gower Coast within easy reach. We are PET FRIENDLY (however we no longer accept cats - sorry). The cottage is set in a very pretty and cosy setting..backing on to the historic and stunning "Park Howard" with it's famous 150 yr old Mansion, Museum and Art Gallery (well worth exploring)."Park Howard" is delightful and great for dog walking or just enjoying the surrounding scenery..Enjoy!
An extremely atmospheric little cottage which is well over 200 years old.It is set among other pretty cottages (all individual in decor and colour - please refer to the featured photos) which are believed to be the oldest in the Carmarthenshire area.Indeed "Pine Tree Cottage" was deemed so cottage like that it recently featured in a childrens tv series aired throughout the country - and featured in every one :-) It's an extremely nice place to spend a few days at and relax...Please note that we are PET FRIENDLY :-) ..... but no longer accept cats :-(
Please note that we are PET FRIENDLY (however no longer accept cats - sorry)...Our cottage is near to "Llanelly House" which is literally around the corner. This is considered to be one of the best examples of early Georgian architecture in the whole of the UK.Indeed it was a finalist in the 2003 BBC series "Restoration"-On offer are afternoon teas and a very tasty Sunday lunch -well worth a visit For those keen golfers, spend a morning at Machynys Peninsula Golf Club followed by a spot of lunch prepared by award winning chefs. Here you can enjoy great golf, fantastic views and freshly prepared home produce. The course was designed by no other than Jack Nicklaus. Around the corner from here is the Llanelli Wetland Centre. Here you can hand feed the rarest geese in the world,go bug hunting or even pond dipping ! "Pine Tree Cottage" is just 5 mins away from the breathtaking beauty of the "Millenium Coast" with it's coastal path which meanders along this glorious coastline through Llanelli,Pwll,Burry Port and onto Pembrey Country Park, with its golden sandy beach, horse riding/biking trails,a toboggan run and dry ski slopes.

Summer or winter, ideal for couples or families interested in the outdoors or those simply wanting to "chill" away from the city. Perfect setting with uninterrupted views over the Gower peninsular and Carmarthenshire coast, on the coastal walking path and cycle track. The Jack Nicklaus golf course at Macynys and the Asburnham links course in Burry Port are very close by. Nearby facilities include the Llanelli Wildfowl Centre, Llanelly House, Kidwelly Castle and the Gower beaches.
The apartment is on the first floor and it is made up of two good sized double bedrooms with hanging space and chest of drawers. There is a living space and open plan kitchen with all modern appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. There is an electric hob, oven and microwave. There is a fridge/freezer and coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and screen. It is double glazed throughout and has electric storage heaters and ample hot water.
Llanelli is a growing town in rural West Wales. It has its history in coal mining and heavy industry but all this has been replaced by light industry and services. The local people are noted for their warmth and generosity. You will often hear Welsh spoken in the local shops, restaurants and pubs. The seafront has been extensively redeveloped for leisure and outdoor activities. The apartment is facing the beach and you will see many people out cycling or walking with their families and dogs almost whatever the weather. The Black Mountains are close by and the countryside is always green. The scenery is spectacular and the weather often changes hour to hour. You can expect to experience all the seasons in a single day!

A delightful stone cottage we call the Stable. The house was build in the 1700’s, just perched above the village green. Our holiday accommodation boasts spectacular estuary sea views. We are located just 100m from two dog friendly country pubs. Llanrhidian Marsh is part of the Welsh Coastal Path, ideal for walkers. Adjcent to our home is the local church. Our holiday accommodation is ideally positioned in Gower close to wedding venues and for holidaying by the seaside. NO EXTRA CLEANING CHARGES.
The Space. A small but unique country style two floor open plan self catering cottage, with a double ensuite bedroom. The lower floor has a living area with a kitchenette. Includes: (Portable oven, 2 stove cooking elements. A microwave, Tefal chip fryer. Plus a toaster, kettle and fridge.) We also provide complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Plus a cereal pack. Number of guests. The cottage is ideal for 2 guests but has a sofa bed option for a further 2 guests (£20 extra charge per guest over 2 persons. Extra bedding and towels will be provided.) N.B the ensuite shower & toilet is to be shared by all guests. There is a TV with DVD player. We have a selection of DVDs, plus a small library of books. There is an electric fireplace with steam effect flames. Parking. We try to keep a space free just outside our house. Although we do appreciate that 1 Space is kept free for our neighbour who drives a grey volvo. He parks near his house opposite. However it can be busy with weddings so if you are struggling to park then please let me know and I can arrange a space at the rear of our cottage to park. Dogs. Dogs are very welcome to stay free of charge. Max 2. Dogs are not to be left alone at the property. Guest privacy. We respect guests privacy and please make yourselves at home. Soon as you have your front door key you are free to come and go as you please. In the late summer evenings its lovely to sit outside on the garden furniture looking out at the estuary sea views. With a glass of your favourite tipple. All we ask in return is to consider the neighbours. If you require any further information and tips of local knowledge then please drop us a text on the airbnb app. Alternatively you can knock on our door. We are very friendly and we always enjoy meeting our guests.
Some people miss out on magical places because they head straight for the beaches and who can blame them. However Llanrhdian village has some amazing senary that attracts walkers from near and far. Weobley Castle is easy reachable from Llanrhdian, just a 30 to 40 minute walk along the Welsh Coastal Path. And finally not forgetting the Dolphin Inn beer garden, one of the best beers gardens on Gower.
  • This is the first time we stayed at this accommodation. We booked for one night with the intention to explore the local area. The accommodation was in an ideal location for exploring the local beaches and sights. It was around 10 minutes away from the Three Cliffs Bay and Whiteford Beach. The accommodation itself was easily big enough for two people and was exceptionally clean. The kitchen is small but well equipped. We went to The Welcome Inn (which was a stone throw away) for dinner. They served typical pub grub which was nice but a little pricey. Overall we had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Thank you!

  • Lovely Airbnb, would highly recommend. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really nicely decorated. Communication from the hosts was excellent as well.

    Alicia2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay.

    Ruth2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The stable was a perfect size for two in an ideal location and the fact you can take your dog was a massive factor in choosing this accommodation. The hosts provide thoughtful little touches like a highlighted map of things to see, cereals, proper coffee, milk and welsh cakes. It was super clean and everything clear and easy to use. Don't panic when you can't see a hob or oven as these are portable to use if you want to cook, however there are two great pubs within an easy walk which are dog friendly too so eating out is an easy option.

    Tansy2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • A sparkling clean and well designed little cottage with a nice garden space which would be nice in the summer! We did miss not having an oven, but would cater with that in mind next time!

    Hannah2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts! Had everything we needed and accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Easy instructions and good communications. Beautiful village. Look forward to visiting again. Would recommend this place

  • Such a lovely house; a great home from home. Big comfy beds, tea and coffee in the cupboards. The wood burner was very useful this weekend in the freezing cold. Very close to Burry Port; literally at the end of the garden. We will definitely be back to stay.

    Kathryn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah is certainly a thoughtful host. The accommodation met our expectations and some. From finding the venue to gaining access, spotlessly clean, comfortable, attentive. Our weekend was a gathering of friends who are quite fussy women of a certain age. All of us were impressed. Our stay was a treat! Thank you so much!

A rustic renovated annex to the main house with antique reclaimed wooden floor, door and window sills. Quiet, and cosy with an electric 'log burner'. TV and DVD and free fast WiFi. Use of a downstairs cloakroom/shower room on the other side of the large shared farmhouse kitchen/dining area. Views up to the orchard and across the bay. Our home was featured on Channel 5's series To B and B the best, episode 21 if you would like to see it and us!
The room is a converted old outbuilding, originally a wash house, that is now joined to the main house though a covered utility room. It is quiet and peaceful. The Gower peninsula can be viewed across the estuary, weather permitting! The other side looks out over a small lawn, various fruit and vegetables and up into the apple, pear and plum trees. The room had plenty of storage for short term guests. .
We have a small convenience store in the village and a lovely pub/restaurant, The Bryngwyn, plus a few other pubs.
  • Vic and Una hosted me at short notice and are so welcoming. Such a comfy bed as well!

  • Had a lovely stay with Vic in the annex. Just one night but it was very comfortable in a stunning location with great views.

  • Vic’s place was just what I needed after a 70 mile cycle to get there. Lovely location with awesome views and right on the outstanding and beautiful coastline/nature reserve of Llanelli and, especially, Pwll/Bury Port. Vic gave a very friendly welcome and was easy going, making sure my bike was safe. Bed was super comfy and there was more than everything you needed in the room. All good. Great value. Very pleased. Would definitely stay again.

  • Quirky place, in a fab location.

    Scott2019-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • I had the pleasure of staying with Vic and his family over a weekend when I was taking part in the Great Welsh Marathon. I expected to have a comfy and cozy place to stay--which I absolutely got. But it was so much more than just a lovely bed and amazing view. Everyone was extremely kind, offering me a ride to the local shops, letting me take a bath when my muscles were sore and cramped, and also giving me the chance to try some fresh goat's milk. I felt so welcomed and relaxed, it was simply delightful, and I hope to return some day. If you're looking for kind hosts, good views, and a place to unwind from the madness of city life, you've found it.

    Katherine2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Vic's place has a farmhouse vibe. There seems to be stuff going on on this site, where Vic and Una cater for a variety of guests. Great views down to the Gower. Chickens clucking outside your window in the morning! Vic was a relaxed and accommodating host and and keen to offer that I made myself at home.
