Private Estate, amazing views of Cape Cod Bay from every room, small deeded beach, pool, large yard, master retreat on 3rd floor w/ deck, office. Beach stone fireplace, outdoor deck, SS grill, enclosed gazebo with large dining table. Chef's kitchen, Fresh/clean linens, Tempurpedic mattresses, 2nd kitchen off the pool patio, WIFI, GYM. Several nearby attractions, beaches, whale watching, Cape ferries. NO PARTIES/EVENTS/WEDDINGS/NO ADDITIONAL GUESTs/NO TRESSPASSING ON NEIGHBORS PRIVATE BEACHES.
Sorry for all the rules, but proposed town regulations and prior guests require this... ALL GUESTS MUST TALK TO ME BEFORE STAYING TO MAKE SURE YOU COMPLY WITHE THE NO EVENTS/PARTIES/NO LOUD NOISE/PRIVATE BEACH LAW- PLYMOUTH IS PROPOSING REGULATIONS TO FINE OWNERS AND BAN FUTURE RENTALS FOR PROPERTIES THAT HAVE MULTIPLE DISTURBANCES. IF YOU HAVE A REPORTED DISTURBANCE YOU WILL NOT ONLY LOOSE YOUR DEPOSIT BUT COULD FACE LARGER DAMAGES. Surveillance cameras on property. NO ADDITIONAL GUEST, MAX VEHICLES 10. Only guests on the reservation are allowed on the property unless you have prior written approval to host a small family gathering or corporate event. This is not a party house due to the concerns and complaints from neighbors. (We have had guests violate this policy & we do have a neighbor that will call the police) Some of these calls do not warrant a loss of deposit or qualify as a disturbance if the police arrive and do not report an issue. You have access to a private deeded beach on property, which is marked with 30 feet of frontage. You also have a deeded private dock and use of Black pond. (DO NOT ACCESS OTHERS PRIVATE BEACH & SEA WALLS) THIS IS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE, the land owners own to the LOW TIDE MARK per MA LAW, and invest a lot of energy into maintaining their seawalls and protecting their land against EROSION. They can be very territorial, so it’s CRITICAL that kids don’t walk on seawalls or on hills/vegetation by the beach. Every winter the beach changes based on storms, which can bring in rocks, or change in landscape. Generally the access to this beach at high tide is a smaller area as pictured and it is not like your traditional open long sandy beaches (Scussett Beach is located just a few miles away). At low tide it's more open and has tidal pools and can be quite nice (as pictured). Amazing outdoor space, pool table room, dart board, and large yard that can entertain large wiffle ball games, kick ball, corn hole (all supplied on site). Must help with check out procedures, which include stripping sheets, starting a load of laundry, washing dishes and bringing trash to the garage. Note Pool is not heated and open from Mid May to Early Oct. Hot tub is open year round. Certain peak times, holidays, may require min night \stays and rates may need to be adjusted based on seasonality.
RESIDENTIAL, Private, quiet, yet a short drive to several attractions
  • Absolutely gorgeous and secluded place. The bedrooms were so comfortable and well designed. Wonderful views of the ocean and the perfect place to cook and relax. Scott is a wonderful host and was very communicative and helpful. We plan to return again soon after such a positive experience. Thank you!

  • Beautiful property and a very spacious home with plenty of room for guests. The beds were insanely comfortable! The outdoor space was particularly lovely. Scott was very polite and communicative throughout the stay. Just be aware of sensitive neighbors and noise traveling. Our group (of 7) worked hard to be respectful but still has some noise complaints just sitting outside and conversing at night. Not Scott’s fault at all but something to be mindful of depending on the experience you want to have.

  • The Estate is picture perfect. The large open floor plan and wall of windows that faces eastward let’s in an awesome amount of sunlight. The living room is very comfortable, and the dual fireplace is exceptional. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped if you’re going to be cooking. Each bedroom has its own beautiful full bathroom, and the master suite on the 3rd floor is spectacular. The walk out to the pool and hot tub is super convenient with another kitchen, bath, and living room on the ground level. By far, this is the nicest AirBnB I’ve stayed in, in all of New England. Gorgeous property, very high in value.

  • Beautiful spacious home. Amazing view. Private bathrooms in all the bedrooms are a big plus. Clean home. Gorgeous fireplace. Big kitchen with huge counter with plenty of stools. Plenty of space. Would definitely rent again. Scott, our host, was easy to communicate with and answered any questions during our weekend stay.

This log house is beautiful. Only minutes from historic Plymouth, beaches and the Cape. On an acre of private, wooded property. Located across the street from lovely cranberry bogs and walking trails. Close to Boston and Providence. A must see! Pet friendly! Seasonal rates apply.
This listing is for a Traditional Log House rental/day/week/mo. Great for a summer vacation rental! Amazing for Autumn foliage and especially the cranberry harvest!! We have finished updating this listing with all new stainless-steel appliances, additional deck space and are almost done with re-modeling the basement. Our $125/day off-season rate reflects our ''almost finished'' state. The interior of the log home is as charming as the exterior and never fails to impress with its 30ft vaulted ceilings and hard wood floors. The yard is lovely and well-kept. Central Air/Heat with easy-to-use digital climate interface.
Located only a few miles from historic Plymouth, this property is situated on a series of cranberry bogs and has walking trails along lakes and ponds across the street. It is not located in a neighborhood, per se, although it does sit back from the main ''old'' road leading down to water- front Plymouth. The house has two incredibly lovely neighbors on either side, however, it remains very quiet and private with each property an acre or more each.
  • Great host, great space, memorable experience. Thank you for opening your space and sharing your home.

  • Garrett was an exceptional host. We absolutely loved the cabin. It was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. It's in a great location which was super quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything you could need. My husband and I were very pleased and had an awesome time. It was great to be able to bring our dog along as well. We are looking forward to staying there again.

    Jessica2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • One of our favorite places so far! The rustic charm along with the added touches like the freshly baked bread and bits of added charm all over the house was second to none! The house is the perfect size for independent space or snuggled family time! We are already checking the calendar to see when we can return!

    Jody2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderfully rustic log cabin that is private and relaxing. We had a great experience having a quiet, peaceful weekend in the rustic cabin.

    Ali2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Garrett’s place was not only beautiful and spacious, but he was very accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

    Priscilla2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A really wonderful place to spend a holiday, even in winter. The cabin is beautiful and the layout ideal for families as there are two sitting rooms and a garden for playing. The kitchen is a joy to work in as it’s Open Plan and a lot of stuff has been provided by the owner including a wonderful home-made cake that filled the cabin with lovely aromas on arrival. Great location for exploring all the pilgrim stuff and more. Right next to the Cranbury bogs so great walks. All in all a great stay and Garrett was very welcoming.

Susan was very responsive and everything we needed was there. The cottage was clean and exactly as described. If you are looking to get away and enjoy the Cape Cod from years gone by, then this is your place!! Hope to be back!

  • An absolute treasure. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Nothing better than waking up and opening the back door to the ocean.

  • Loved it!

    Kaitlyn2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea, this is the perfect spot! The cottage is nestled behind the dune with a fabulous dune top deck to enjoy views of the beach, the sea, and the stars at night. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather and spent most of our “at home” time on the deck, but the cottage itself is very quaint and comfortable. You are a bit off the beaten track - just what we wanted, and it was no problem to drive a short distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

    Leslie2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Susan’s cottage. The home is adorably decorated and so quaint, and we loved the outdoor patio! We spent all our evenings outside watching the sunset with a glass of good wine, and the new fire pit is a great touch. We loved having access to the private beach, and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach right outside was delightful. We will definitely be back!

    Kacey2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience all around! Made me fall in love with the Cape, excellent location and the cottage had everything we needed and more. We didn’t want to our trip to end! We can’t wait to return back soon. Will definitely recommend to my friends!

    Olga2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous location facing the ocean, the beach at the bottom of the terrace! The house is charming and properly equipped with gas stove inside and brazier on the terrace We could not enjoy the outdoor shower because of the weather. The only minor criticism would be that you had to leave the house at 9am, a bit early for a vacation!

    Eric2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible place! If you're looking for your own private slice of the Cape, look no further. This place offers a cozy private beach cabin and an amazing deck to kick back and relax. The fire pit on the deck was also a great touch in the evenings. It was our first trip to the Cape and this place made the experience all the more memorable. We will definitely be back!

Enjoy the lush, green yards and creek. The February Airbnb Plus photos don't do it justice. You will unwind within the idyllic charm of this barn-turned-loft boasting white-washed wood paneling, skylight windows, and eclectic furnishings. Sit in the sauna and then recharge with a glass of wine on the balcony or in the leafy garden terrace next to the village's tidal creek.
Designed in honor of the host's first generation Swedish-American father and the summerhouse he built to remember his own Cape Cod childhood. Sigren Summerhouse has more *hygge* than you can shake a forest-foraged stick at, but it's the notion of *lagom* (not too much, not too little) that balances rich comfort and clean simplicity. It is the perfect space for a winter hideaway, summer vacation, romantic getaway, girls' weekend, honeymoon, writer's retreat. Whether you want to explore every corner of the Cape or truly retreat from it all with creature-comforts, the Summerhouse is a spacious home-base unlike anything else in the area.
The property is in the Upper Cape Cod town of Sandwich. Established in 1637, it is the oldest town on Cape. Sigren Summerhouse sits within the historic village. The Sandwich Glass Museum, Shawme Lake, Dexter Grist Mill, HoxieHouse, and the charming village center are a mere walk away. Walk for 20 minutes to reach Boardwalk Beach’s scenic walking trails and kayak rentals, and choose between the child-friendly estuary beach or adjacent Town Neck Beach. Heritage Museum and Gardens also nearby.

  • 10/10 would suggest this place! Great hosts and beautiful home. Easily the best experience I’ve had with air bnb

    Ashley2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This house is AMAZING. Came here for my family reunion and it accommodated 12 people very comfortably and with luxury as we spent most of our time at the house. The outside area has lots of space for activities and a large and beautiful swimming pool with lots of seating for lounging, dining, sun bathing and S’mores making/ there’s a gas fire pit, which makes it easy to turn on and off. Each room is spacious and the linen was nice and clean. We used the grill and cooked a lot and the kitchen had plenty of appliances and dishes for that. The TV room is beautiful and the large couch accommodated almost all of us for afternoon movie time. Thomas was very communicative and left us a kind welcome gift and helpful local tips. We will definitely be coming back next year!

    Marina2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Joanna and Thomas’ place is everything we needed to celebrate our girl’s weekend! Everyone had a place to sleep and their home is beautiful. While we spent the majority of our time by the pool, Scusset beach was right down the street. We were also a short ride away from many great bars and restaurants, which was so convenient. While we didn’t get a chance to meet Joanna and Thomas, they left us a welcome basket and welcome guide, and were very responsive and accommodating with check in/out times and questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend!

  • You are in for a great time when you book this home! Everything was perfect

    Kate2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Joanna and Thomas are great hosts. They are very attentive and responsive. When we first stumble upon the house on Airbnb it seem almost too good to be true but everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Location of the house was very convenient and near restaurants, markets and shops. Upon arrival, host was there to greet us and gave us pointers to where we should go during our stay. We also got a welcome basket. The host was very accommodating and let us check in earlier. The house is very clean and modern. It has everything we needed to feel at home. Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The rooms are clean and specious. The kids really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool. Would definitely stay here again when we have another family vacation in Cape Cod.

    Kathleen2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! Their communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. It was exactly what we were looking for.

  • Great space! I chose to stay here rather than sleep on my brothers family’s couch and it was a great decision. This space is perfect for 1-2 adults. I wish the weather had allowed me to use the outside area, but it was still beautiful. There were so many little touches that made me feel so welcome.

    Rebecca2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is neat .. lots of character and easy to get to. We enjoyed the beach house theme, unfortunately it rained during most of our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the nearby beach. Great location for Boston, Plymouth area.

  • Nice little cottage to stay in

    Jesse2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I fell in love with this cottage. It is cute. It is cozy. It is comfortable. It is convenient. If I am ever on the South Shore again, I will hope to stay in this cottage.

  • Ideal in every way

    David2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I were looking for a relaxing place to spend a long weekend. This cottage is just a dream! Super clean and perfect for two people. The backyard is like a peaceful oasis, perfect to read a book, chat and grill something for dinner. Walking distance to the beach, awesome spot for a run along the coast in the morning. We only wish we could stay longer!

    Valeria2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was the perfect little getaway for me. It had everything I needed and it was so comfy and cozy I didnt want to leave! Such a great location as well. Not too far from anything to do!

    Lindsay2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a fabulous little place for a beach getaway! We stayed with our 3 year old and couldn’t have asked for more. The cottage is even more cute than it looks and the garden is just beautiful. So many little extras made our stay so easy and fun. Kids toys, beach chairs, and the amazing outdoor shower (which we used every day!). The local beach is rocky as mentioned and you definitely want beach shoes. We loved Grays Beach- small and picturesque, with the best restrooms ever! Long Beach is perfect for a day of beach fun with soft sand and snack bar ($20 to park). Kingston pizza is amazing and all the amenities of Plymouth are only a few minutes away. We loved Ziggys ice cream! The French Memories pastry shop in nearby Duxbury is a real treat for a morning croissant! I honestly can’t say enough about this little gem. Thanks to Susan and Mike for sharing their little slice of paradise.

Cozy and comfy bedroom in a small house w/fireplaced livingroom. House is near Plymouth and Bridgewater and other nearby towns. Near rts 58, 106 & 27. and 5 minutes from commuter rail. A 15 minute drive to rte 3. Good for a college student, leisure or business travelers. Has a nice front/back yard. I have a small dog-silky terrier which is hyporallergenic. My home is close-about a 15 minute drive to the Carver Fire Dept which has various trainings throughout the year including for EMS.
In cold months guests can make use of fireplace in shared livingroom as well as big television in livingroom in addition to the smaller tv in the bedroom. The sofa does open up to host an additional guest or two. Please make use of the large kitchen table and livingroom for leisure and for work space as needed!
The neighborhood is fairly quiet with a lake for fishing or swimming. Although setting is quaint it's only 5 minutes from a supermarket and Walmart as well as some nice restaurants. The restaurants include a tavern, restaurant, Chinese restaurant and a couple of pizza places as well as an Italian restaurant. Plymouth and Hanover are close for other shopping needs.

Waterfront living close to Cape Cod! We are right near the Cape without all the congestion! The main house is right on the water on a cove on the Wareham River which connects with Buzzards Bay. Guest Cottage is behind (toward street) main house but has a bit of water view and access to the beach. Do you have a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard? Do you like to fish? This is a great location for water activities! As with any tidal body of water, water activities are best enjoyed at high tide
Our newly renovated guest cottage is behind the house (relative to the water). Guest cottage is set up like a hotel room with a full bed, a bathroom, and a small pantry with microwave, refrigerator, Keurig and a flip up eating space. There is a sleeper loveseat that may accommodate a child or adult. The cottage has an electric fireplace, a TV with 40 channels and access to Amazon Prime and Netflix content. It also has a large screened porch with a bistro style table and chairs. There is a gas grill with a side burner available to use just outside the porch. The guest house has water view and access to the beach. If you have a kayak, paddle board, or small boat bring it along!!! There are restaurants and a grocery store less than 2 miles away. There is a boat ramp less than two miles away. The neighborhood is quiet.
Quiet neighborhood with restaurants and grocery store just over one mile away. Short trip into “town” where there are a few small but good restaurants. In addition in the summer the Wareham Gateman (part of the Cape Cod League) play only a pleaseant 1 mile walk away at Wareham High School's field.
  • Paulas place is very clean and quaint. She makes sure you’re very comfortable by responding quickly and providing you with towels, k-cups, and eating supplies, etc. The space is perfect for a couple and the screened in porch was perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Absolutely loved our stay!

    Jon2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • I had a fantastic stay here at Jacqueline’s Airbnb. The price I paid was very much exceeded in quality. Such a low price per night stay for the peace and quality of the hospitality provided here! I must say that I truly adored her home too. Her house was built in the 1950’s and the marvelous mid-century qualities are still there. The upstairs bathroom was my favorite of the home. The turquoise tile reminded me of my family’s vacation home growing up and it gave me waves of nostalgia. Past that personal enjoyment, there were nice and thoughtful touches within this Airbnb, such as the provided facial care, shampoo, conditioner products and other toiletries. Also, the numerous fliers at the entrance of the home were quite helpful for a first time visitor. Most of all, you cannot beat the location and price of this Airbnb here in Plymouth. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Our Tiny House is a tiny converted small old barn. It sits on our property under a 200 year old tree. Think of it as a cross between Glamping and Rustic Cottage and an old Camp. It's on the site of our larger rental property, but separated by fencing and garden, so a private feel. You will have your own micro yard with fire pit and shade loving plantings of trees and ferns. There is a long path to reach it. If you don't like rustic or roughing it, then do not rent our Tiny House.
This IS a tiny house so expect small. Our Bathroom is very tiny and has a low ceiling (if you are over 6 feet be prepared to duck) however, we have amazing water pressure and lots of hot water. The stand up shower is more than ample for a tiny home stay. We are always trying to improve the place as well as do better at describing it. We have had a few guests who felt it was too hot or muggy, so we have added more AC unit which does indeed dehumidify and also really cool the tiny place down. We also keep getting guests who complain about some insects, despite our saying MANY times in the listing that it is an inevitability. I personally use a vacuum and get every corner of the little place ceiling and floor, but it is in a shady wood with many trees touching and abutting the property. It is also an OLD barn underneath the new insulation and drywayll, so bugs will just get there. They are not dangerous bugs, but an occasional harmless spider or an ant. If you cannot tolerate that do NOT rent our tiny house. However, we offer a very FAIR price for the area and those who have loved it, understood it as a sort of Camping cottage mixed with Tiny house. That is what this is. Again, cannot point this out enough, if you want super sealed in modern spa luxury, this is NOT the place for you. I just want to match people who appreciate the rustic cuteness I love and to put off anyone who does not like that. There is not point in trying it out if you are not into rustic. The house is a converted OLD tiny barn. So, though it has all new drywall and insulation, it sits under many trees in the shade so, despite thorough cleaning, bugs will reappear. Sometimes a spider in a corner and the like. Consider this a rustic camp stay and your expectations will be accurate. Do NOT rent this place and then leave a review saying you saw a bug, let me save you the time now. You will see a bug. We clean and vacuum every corner and under sofa and bed etc between guests, but this is under trees in a micro wood, so they will return. Again, if you like a rustic nature camp feel you will like this Tiny House. There is a lot of charm and joy in our little house and the guests who have LOVED it have been those who approach it as a tiny rustic cottage in the shade of large trees. A nice outdoor fire or a cosy place to watch a movie. We have a full size stove/oven a small size fridge, and a microwave and coffee maker. It really is a great little quaint spot to stay whilst visiting the Cape and all it has to offer. We are NOT a high end hotel that is hermetically sealed to all dust and bugs. We are NOT a roomy spacious spa with large tiled bathroom. If this is what you are looking for, do NOT book our Tiny House. The house is reached by a quirky little wooden gate under a pine tree. You then have to walk a curvy wooded path to the front door. I find it cute and hidden away, some might find it too rough. If you are someone who finds things 'too rough' do NOT book this house. DO rent Fern Cottage if you like rustic tiny home living. You don't mind an occasional spider. You like a quirky wooded path to the cottage but also conveniently on historic 6A so easy ON and OFF cape and to other destinations like 2 miles to beaches. Also a fun and rustic walk next door behind inn down a long wooded path to the Cape Cod Canal pathway (again a long wooded path, not a paved easy stroll) then please rent our tiny home.
This area of Sandwich/Sagamore is unique in that you can walk from our property to the field behind the Inn next door for a long but enjoyable walk to the cape cod canal walkway. It is an easy 2 mile drive to a beach, one of the few on the cape that doesn't require a beach permit. And downtown Sandwich is close by and has adorable shops and restaurants. We are also easy on and off Sagamore bridge to go off cape and about an hour from Boston if you want that in your trip as well.
  • Very cute, comfy, and private. An adorable cottage in a beautiful neighborhood!

    Rachel2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Cottage was a great place to stay while on the Cape for me. Very clean and well stocked. A very nice little place with all the comfort and amenities I needed. Very nice living room to relax in with TV service, good WiFi, kitchen with some snacks and water provided, comfortable bed and pillows. The outside area is nice and private from the main house as well with a fence and fire pit area. Directions and communication were very good, I did not see the homeowners during my stay, check in was a breeze. Check out is early at 10 am, would have preferred 11 am but it was no problem. Next time I am on the Cape I will stay farther as it is a bit far to drive to the rest of the Cape from here but a quiet and relaxing place to stay!

    Roger2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and great value!

    Stephen2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Donna’s Tiny House was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a nice long weekend at the Cape. The location was close to great dining options, beaches and other Cape Cod activities (whale watch, shopping, etc.). The Tiny House was honestly bigger than we expected based on past reviews. I’m 6 months pregnant and my husband is 6’ tall and we had no problem with the space. The bathroom was small but not so small that we couldn’t comfortably do what needed to be done (we were expecting smaller based on past reviews). The house was immaculate when we arrived, as well and the outdoor space was like a cute secret garden with a fire pit. Donna was great and answered all of my questions about beach locations and amenities before the trip. We are still shocked by the low cost of this home, it’s unheard of to rent any type of space so inexpensively in Cape Cod. It was a perfect baby moon and we’d come back here (or to any of Donna’s other locations) in a heart beat.

    Maria2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's cottage (Tiny House) is a great value and it was spotlessly clean...conveniently located and very private.

    Alan2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • A cool, funky, private, basic, inexpensive place at the Cape. An updated mattress would make it the max.

    Ken2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Donnas little cabin in the woods is an incredible deal for being the middle of the summer on cape cod!! She responds so politely and quickly to any questions you may have and offers to come help if needed. Only thing to keep in mind: if you are extremely tall (over 6ft) or plus size it’ll be a tight squeeze for you. The cottage was very clean, had plenty of towels, and great shower pressure to help get all the beach sand off! Can’t beat the price!

  • Alex & Emma’s place was exactly has described. Very private, comfy and total tranquility. They both even allowed me to use their cars to make some personal errands and offer me some of their own food while I was there which was quite thoughtful & kind of them to do. I 100% recommended staying at their place. They are very awesome people to be around alongside their two adorable cats which kept my company majority of the time I was their.

We were very happy when they could provide us with an air humidifier for our room and when they helped us use the Roku in the room as well. Their cats are also very friendly and make great company. :)

This home is a 300 year old antique located in historic neighborhood. Walking distance to bakery, banks, cafes and walking parks... 1/2 hour drive to Cape Cod Canal, 50 minutes to Boston, 1 mile to commuter rail.******* My place is also a home for four very social cats.
The scale of this house is so warm and historic! in decorating it I've worked to keep the historic quality as well as adding what I call bohemian chic elements.... red walls, modern paintings, bright materials, comfortable furniture. In the winter I have fires in the original beehive fireplaces and in the summer the shady backyard has a chiminea and retro butterfly chairs... so comfortable I sometimes fall asleep until the early morning hours.
Middleboro used to be a small rural farm town with lots of cranberry bogs.... the small farmers are mostly gone now and the town is more suburban. My home is in a historically registered neighborhood, immedialely off 495 which is the highway to the Cape and north to Boston. My home is the oldest being the original farm cape built by Silas Wood in 1711... most of the surrounding homes are turn of the century Edwardians & Victorians.
  • The trip was beyond amazing Close to history and so much beauty... I can’t wait to come back and stay again!!! It was truly an experience of a life time.. no better way then to make my 1st trip to the East coast!!! 💛💛💛💛

  • Superb home. You really feel at home with Merrie. His 18th century house breathes the story of an era. Merrie is very communicative and we spent an unforgettable evening enjoying a good drink. Without any we will return home if we have the opportunity.

    Colette2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great hospitality and location. If you are comfortable with cats around, Merrie's place will be ideal for short visit and long stays.

    Ly2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Merrie is an absolute super host! Her place is cozy and very clean. Location is perfect, as it's close to downtown amenities, major highways and T station should you need or choose to use public transportation. I highly recommend this place!

Just 4 blocks from the water and a beautiful, sandy beach, this cozy cottage is tidy, sweet and has everything you're looking for to enjoy and relax. Serene bedroom with comfy queen, open concept living room and kitchen for lounging, enjoying cocktails and maybe cook a few lobsters? Sofa bed provides extra sleeping space. Fenced-in yard, lovely deck accesible from bedroom, and backyard patio with grill, cafe table and seating. 13 mi to Sagamore Bridge, 19 to Sandwich or Plymouth, 74 to P-town.
We are pet friendly and you can enjoy organic eggs from our onsite-chickens if you're into that sort of thing. Though sleeping four is possible, you should really like your friends because the space will be tight since the cottage is small. Prepare to use the deck and patio as outdoor rooms to make it work!
Sweet historic neighborhood where lots of lovely families have had small summer homes and cottages for many years. Once you turn down Swifts Beach Rd, you leave behind the development and the hustle and bustle, and yet you are less than a five minute drive from a Shaw's grocery store, a Rite-Aid and a CVS, a hardware store, several beer/wine stores, pizza place, awesome breakfast spot, great Mexican food, etc! And yet you can be peering into perfect little tide pools and watching the waves in less than a 5 minute walk as well. There is no development down by the beach, which makes it sweet and wild feeling. Some notes on the history of Wareham: "Wareham, Massachusetts--the Gateway to the Cape--is a small town steeped in rich history. The Wampanoags, or "People of the First Light," first used the area of Wareham as a summer home. Later, this area became part of the colonies' first permanent settlement, Plymouth. Since its incorporation in 1739, Wareham has persevered and flourished through the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and the Industrial Revolution. In the nineteenth century, the seaside town quickly became a tourist destination and experienced an early economic boom as salt works, manufacturing mills, ironworks, nail factories and cranberry harvesting developed in the region. With over fifty-four miles of scenic waterfront, Wareham has drawn travelers to its shores for centuries." --from A Brief History of Wareham: The Gateway to Cape Cod, by Michael J. Vieira
  • What a great place ! I had everything I could need/want while staying there wifi, netflix and coffee just to name a few. Great outdoor space for my dog to enjoy and just a few blocks to the beach. Neighborhood was very quiet.

  • Leslie's place is what Airbnb is all about. From start to finish she was readily available to answer any questions and I was never left waiting for a reply from her. This is a wonderful little cottage full of personality that's in a great location. Ample parking, an awesome library and lots of little extras made this one of the more enjoyable Airbnb experiences I've ever had.

  • Leslie's place is beautiful and well decorated. Well located close to the beach, downtown and a supermarket. The place is well equipped and we were able to enjoy eating outside and reading in the comfortable couch. The place is perfect for a couple and a baby, just be careful if he likes to explore has much as my son because there a few things that needs to be secured before he does.

  • Richard's apartment was in a perfect location for us on our trip to MA. The space was lovely, roomy, clean, and well equipped. It was especially wonderful to be able to have our pup Bella with us while traveling to see family for Thanksgiving. Richard was warm and welcoming and offered assistance or advice should we need (which we didn't) . We would love to stay here again if traveling this way.

It has nice local touch to it. The bathroom is clean, there is breakfast provided. My first day here, Karen actually provided pizza and red wine. Where can you get that? Words cannot describe her. You have to come and see it yourself

  • I am a little biased having grown up in this house. But, anyone staying here will absolutely love this house. Not only lovingly restored & beautiful, but very comfortable & cozy. You will find everything you need to make your stay perfect. Our family had the best Thanksgiving here. Lots of memories & tears but also new memories made. We will do it again! A huge thank you to Jenn & Mike for all their help in making this happen. My parents would be so very happy with all the renovations. I know they're smiling down from above!

  • At Deb's place you will receive a very warm welcome and a lovely, comfy room in a lovely setting. Deb gives great advice on where to eat and where not (even more important in my view). Why bother with some soulless hotel room when you can stay here?

    Andy2019-09-11T00:00:00Z

The house has many windows, and decor is eclectic, tasteful. The kitchen is new, very modern. Contemporary over all. The windows bring in the sun and the forested beauty.
This accommodation is on the first floor of the house, as are all of the common spaces.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and usually you will see people walking their pets and exercising, biking, and jogging.
  • A solid place at a very reasonable price, I would 100% stay here again. The room was clean and access to the kitchen was very helpful, Sandra made things easy and comfortable as a guest. Thank you!

100 year old fisherman's cabin. Quintessential Cape Cod quirky & mismatched. Short 5 min drive to Cape Cod canal, Mass Maritime, Water Wiz, bike paths . Bring Kayaks- paddle board - beach inflatables & flip flops - Sandy association beach is steps from the door . The Bay is salty - but lake like - perfect for floating away lazy afternoons in the sunshine. Post beach - just relax sipping drinks & grilling a slow dinner on the patio. Then do it all again the next day !
Tiny cabin is located in a little village of similar cottages & cabins. The village is encircled by a sandy association beach. The vibe is quirky and the place buzzes in the summer heat but is super quiet and sleepy off season. Though pets are not allowed in our cabin - there are pets in the village - so this is something to be aware of.
  • Highly recommended. Clean, cozy, and comfortable.

  • As others have stated, the pictures don't do M's place justice. The sun room is spacious and the kitchen area and bedroom are very cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The bathroom is very tiny but that didn't bother me. It's a little confusing to find, but one quick message to M and she responded quickly with great instructions. I had a great stay!

  • M's place was great! The pictures don't show how cute and homey it is in there. The kitchen is very stylish and stocked with small appliances and the basics for cooking anything. The sun room is very cozy with the cutest little electric fireplace! M is a great host and her directions were very helpful! Perfect place for a couple or even just a solo traveler. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay here again. Great location, near some trails and right next to the water! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

  • I am a writer and I was looking for a quiet place where I could have a "writing retreat." This place was perfect. Check in was very simple. The photos of this cottage do not do it justice - it is absolutely adorable and has a lot of charm. It is located in a quiet hollow of little cottages, and has a cute kitchen and bathroom, cozy bedroom, amazing enclosed porch, and adorable patio area that I'm sure is fantastic in warm weather! The host was great. When I had a question my first night, she responded within minutes. Thank you for opening your cottage to me!

You enter through a newly built grand mudroom next to the garage and enter the kitchen. Feel free to hang your coat in the mudroom coat closet. I have a large living room with a 65" TV, a fooseball table, a fire place and wood to burn. I use the fireplace all the time and let me know if it bothers you. Two bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom between which is shared with other guests. i have radiators for heat, they are so warm and toasty yet do make some noise. A beautiful fire in the winter or a walk to the beach in the summer. Feel free to park in the driveway or lots of street parking. i have a kayak to borrow.
