Cheers to a happy, healthy and peaceful 2026! . This is a cozy spot for to start the new year. Dodge Ridge is open ! We are a 1 hour and 50 min drive to the Yosemite entrance gate. Oak Nest Cottage is a quiet retreat on 5 wooded acres. The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable for solo travelers.

Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are less than 5 miles away, along with many hikes and adventures.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft walk from the room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Underbed storage in all bedrooms, Wi-Fi and streaming on the television; central AC (cooler), and Level 2 EV charger (See other details to note). Car parking area: 3 in Summer & 2 in Winter. Ideal for a weekend or week vacation in California's beautiful Sierras! The cabin is close to Pinecrest Lake, and Dodge Ridge. We use the cabin ourselves on a regular basis, so you will find it comfortable and well equipped. The cabin is surrounded by tall pine and redwood trees and we often have deer paying us a visit in our front yard. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. In 2026, we are moving out of the area and the cabin will go up for sale in the spring.
