Cornelia is a great host and has a lovely simple stylish studio to stay in. No real complaints at all, I found the bed a little uncomfortable, but simply slept the other way round and it was fine!

A lovely welcoming host. I highly recommend this gorgeous studio flat. In a great location for the the sea front and shops. A great size for a couple or single person to use. The flat was absolutely spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed. The kitchen was perfect to cook simple meals. Overall I couldn’t be happier and would definitely book again and again. Cornelia’s place was the perfect place to stay whilst working away from home. Everything that you needed to cater for yourself and was very private- great value for money and not too far from the beach/pubs/Bars etc. Sofa bed wasn’t that comfy however, but still had a good nights sleep. Would defo come back if I was working in the area again!

A great location to explore Cleethorpes, we were on foot and got to all the main attractions easily. The lovely flat has a fantastic view of the beach from the lounge and one of the bedrooms. Sam made the booking very straightforward, and checking in and out was easy. One of the comfiest beds I've slept in!

I was one of Stuart’s first visitors, but it didn’t show. He’s a great host, up for a chat if you want one, happy to let you go about your business if not. All the mod cons, and a warm house too. A 20 minute walk to the theatre for me (where I was working). He even picked me up and drove me to the house on the first day, plus gave me lots of maps and advice on the local area for buses and the nearby pool and gym. A great stay! I’ll be back!

Her place was located a good distance away from the main road which was perfect for me as I wanted to be in a quiet house and there was hardly any vehicle or disturbance noises throughout the night. Furthermore, her hospitality towards me was very warm and her place had everything I needed during my stay here! For me, it was the perfect distance from my interview site as well!

Lynsey is a most welcoming and accommodating host. The room I stayed in was lovely with thoughtful touches, and I could use other areas in the house too. The bed was very comforable and I had a very restful sleep both nights. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, and there is a rather nice park in front. Some shops and the seafront are within walking distance. I had a great stay here and I would definitely recommend Lynsey's place.

Debbie’s place is handily placed with the station and the town centre within 5 min walk. The room is clean and comfortable and very quiet being at the rear of the property. Nice garden also, and Debbie is a very friendly host.

Only spent one night here but Debbie was a wonderful host, extremely welcoming, provided a cosily decorated and clean room with a bathroom and shower room just down the hall. Great value for money, located just a short walk from the high street in Cleethorpes. Would definitely recommend this, and will definitely be staying again.

I spent four weeks at Debbie's. There were no problems during my time in her home. It was spotlessly clean. My room had an en suite bathroom which was also spotless. The house is a very short stroll to St Peter's Avenue which has plenty of shops for essentials and other bits and bobs. Try the steak and kidney pie from the Ocean chippy, it puts Holland's to shame. The sea front is a very short walk as well. Would certainly return.

A very clean room with a seemingly brand new and sparklingly clean en suite bathroom. A two minutes' walk to St Peter's Avenue where you will find a range of shops to get the basics and much more. The sea front is less than 5 minutes away.

Sarah is a fantastic host and very friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy and hassle free as there is a lock box provided, so you can check in at any time which was very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised due to the very low price. The bed was very comfy and every you need is provided to make your stay comfortable. Woody house is fairly close to Cleethorpes sea front (5 minute drive) and there are plenty of restaurants, bars etc nearby. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Woody house to anyone else, it’s great value for money.

This is a lovely guest house in a very convenient spot. Parking outside was useful. The children were delightful, and made us all smile. The room was a good size, and it was comfortable. There was plenty of information about the area. Topped off with a great breakfast, including home made yoghurt (which I can recommend!) This was a lovely stay 😁

Beautiful little Chalet! Very warm welcome from Kim who showed us around the property which is much bigger inside than it looks. Couldn’t find fault with anything and the location was perfect as it was so close to the beach which our dogs absolutely loved.

Lovely accommodation, ideally located for peace and quiet but only a 15 minute walk to bus stop and bars. Great value for the size with 2 lovely big bedrooms and in the summer the garden would be great to sit out in.

Living in Lincoln, for years we have been spending hours in the car travelling to places in Yorks and Norfolk, when all the time what we needed was a comfortable hour away! Love what Ian & Kim have done with the chalet, its very cosy, clean and well equipped. The secure garden and decking areas are amazing too and the half door in the kitchen is perfect for letting some air in. We took out 2 dogs and they loved it as soon as we let them out the car, they did not stop smiling and playing the whole time until the sea air finally knocked them out! Kim keeps the chalet super clean and there is plenty of cleaning stuff around to easily maintain the hard work she puts in. The bedding and laundered towels were a treat and it was nice to not have to worry about anything on our little break except enjoy our time together. Location wise, wow! Loved how close to the beach we were and everyone we met was so friendly. Also loved how peaceful it was in the evening, you cant help but chillout. Highlights are the garden/decking, location for the beach, standard of decor and Kim/Ian as hosts. Something to consider if staying here with your dog(s), the nearest dog friendly pubs (that let dogs inside) are in Cleethorpes so you will need to get into Cleethorpes to benefit from these. We went to the Notts Hotel where the landlady was lovely and Waggie Tails which is a dog themed bar/cafe. I think there are more than I mention here but we didnt go away specifically for this so we were content with these pubs.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy chalet, it’s a stones throw from the beach which is ideal for walking dogs which we did several times, the enclosed garden is a lovely space with lots of children’s toys and trampoline! It is a home from home, clean and with all the things you need ie kitchen utensils, towels and bedding, and a lovely welcome box with wine and nibbles, highly recommend

This was a return visit for us, as we loved it so much the first time! The second visit did not disappoint. Plus, the weather was good, so we were able to sit out and enjoy the sheltered private garden. All the extra special touches were there again, such as prosecco!! We were at home right away, with KIm greeting us warmly upon our arrival. The chalet is so comfortable and beautifully appointed. Also, what a treat to be able to walk a few steps across the little road and see the sea! The beach was nice and quiet, lovely for walking our dog and good old fashioned shell collecting. We have already booked Visit Number 3!

Beachside is a beautiful relaxing place and it has all that you need a little treat for when you arrive! Thank you !! Wi-fi, Netflix, cot , high chair, buckets spades a lovely garden which is a sun trap, bbq as well and it’s just next to the beach! We loved it only thing is I want to keep it a secret it’s that good! Top notch contemporary home in a smart area of Cleethorpes. Matt was a welcoming host and excellent communicator. Beauitiful contemporary Victorian terrace home with mod cons. My room was modern clean and tidy next to the loo for my own use.I slept well. Good quality conserves peanut butter marmite butter and bread for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

2nd time I’ve used Matts room and it’s amazing as always. Such a great location with a fantastic host, having a private bathroom is just a cherry on top of a pretty awesome cake. Will be using this room every 6 months when I travel up to see family

Value for money, it's a clean warm, quiet house.

The room was very well presented clean, tidy and warm. Bathroom was fairly modern, but all clean and fully functioning and no complaints, kitchen lacked utensils but I’m sure that would easily be rectified, Parking was restricted but not impossible. Front area of garden at property was consumed by rubbish not ideal as cats were having there fill.

Spend a few days at the flat. It was in a good location with extra on street parking nearby which was easy to find. The location was convenient for Cleethorpes and Grimsby and right on the seafront only a short walk away from local restaurants and shops. The flat itself was spacious and very well equipped, with towels and all the kitchen equipment needed! It was very clean and tidy, felt very homely. Communication was prompt from the hosts and check in was extremely flexible as we didn’t know what time we would arrive. Would highly recommend staying at this property. An excellent experience all around!

Very rare that you get what you pay for nowadays but this was an absolute steal if not for the view only. The place has its niggles here and there like some wobbly tiles in the bathroom but it was clean and tidy, warm and had everything you needed. There was an issue with the WiFi on the first evening which was resolved ASAP, couldn’t ask for more. For those worried about previous reviews regarding smells from nearby chip shops I can happily say I did not smell anything of the sort. I stayed with my partner and my 18 month old daughter and we had a fantastic time. Which brings me to the view, I was born and bread in Cleethorpes for most of my life and I’m ashamed to say I’ve never actually seen the sunset, sunrise and moon lighting from the beach, I can tell you it’s nothing short of beautiful and to be able to watch it from the warmth of the apartment was worth the money alone. Highly recommended. Will deffo book again.

The flat is near the sea and very near of the town center. People can park the car and walk around the town center. The flat was clean and tidy. The flat is modern with all amenities needed to enjoy a good time.

This was the perfect flat for our trip to Cleethorpes. Stylish, modern, comfortable, family friendly and great location. I now know why it is always booked- super place to have a holiday. While the location is central we had no problems with noise. Safe too. Kashor was a great host! Responsive and attentive. Easy to check in and out. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

Staying in Mandy's place felt home from home. Lovely welcome touches for the children and especially nice that they we had 3 Christmas trees up. A great home, lots of space, beautifully decorated and everything you would need. Would come back, so can't recommened it enough.

Stayed in September for a family wedding so knew what to expect - but did we? How wonderful to find the house decorated for Christmas with no less than three pretty trees, lovely festive ornaments and a welcoming bottle of mulled wine, mince pies and a Christmas card showing a well known Grimsby street that brought back so many childhood memories. Thank you very much, see you in 2020!

Really beautiful house, very stylish and like a home away from home. Has everything you would need for a weekend away. Stayed for a local wedding, and a lovely place to base ourselves. Great communication with Mandy, and would 100% recommend. Only very slight criticism is the very low shower pressure, making washing long hair very time consuming.

We didn’t get to meet Mandy when checking in, but she gave very clear and easy instructions on how to gain access to the property. The house is tucked away in a nice quiet cul-de-sac in Healing. Only 5 minutes walk from Healing Manor, which was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding there. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and feel at home in. The beds were super comfy and we had two great nights sleep at Mandy’s Place. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. There is also a lovely back garden to relax in as well and we were lucky we got to enjoy it with the good weather during our stay. We would definitely recommend Mandy’s place and we hope to stay again in future.

Beautiful homely flat in an ideal location

A lovely quaint little place which was peacefully quiet. Helen was a lovely host who met up on our arrival. Some lovely little touches such as fresh milk, biscuits and nibbles were very nice. Everything was lovely and clean and very pet friendly. Located close to the beach. Not a criticism but if you are a bit unsteady or cannot climb stairs easily then the staircase to the bedroom and bathroom could be a bit troublesome for you.

We stayed over the Christmas period and the hosts had put up decorations and left presents for us...what a fantastic touch it was..they went above and beyond to create a special place for is to stay. The house was spotless and very well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. We are familiar with the area and it couldn'tbe better placed for access to cafes bars and shops. I would be very happy to highly recommend cooks by the sea...a new benchmark is being set so dont miss out.

Gill flat is so lovely. It was clean and tidy and full of thoughtful touches. Gill got me some Roses for my birthday which I thought was lovely and also brought us some food and milk for when we arrived which was great. The flat is central right opposite the beach and you can look out the window on the window seat which my son loved. Gill was great at communicating before, during and after the holiday which made things feel easy. I would definitely recommend the flat as it was decorated beautifully with everything you need and is close to the main sites in Cleethorpes. Thanks for having us stay x

Gill’s organisation and attention to detail is superb and we felt the welcome pack and extra touches in her home truly reflects how outstanding Gill’s dedication to providing excellent hospitality is. The perfect beach front home, we cannot wait to visit again.

We had such an amazing time at Cooks by the Sea. My little girl was sad to leave. Gill is a wonderful host with a wonderful soul. The home is just that, a home from home. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches which added to the lovely experience. One of the best places in Cleethorpes to stay. A very clean home and so inviting. Definitely would wish to visit again 🙂
