Lappeenrannan keskustaan on 4 kilometria. Linja-autopysäkki lähellä, sekä hyvä pyörätie keskustaan.

Chata je elektrifikovaná, užitkovou vodu nutno nosit z jezera, pitnou vodu si hosté musí přinést vlastní. Suché WC v oddělené budově. Nedaleko chaty se nachází bar Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki, kde je mimo klasickou nabídku nápojů a jídel možno zakoupit také základní potraviny, nejrůznější spotřební zboží, ale také povolenky pro rybolov.
