The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. Bookings are from Friday to Friday. 2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

The cabin is next to a standing stone with a south facing door & deck area where guests can sit and kids can play. Central heating & double glazing.

Lovely self catering wooden holiday lodge located in a beautiful scenic area on the Solway coast. This pine holiday lodge has 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen /living area, toilet and shower room, balcony, and parking for two cars. (sorry, no pets allowed) The lodge is 10 mins walk from 2 village pubs and the picturesque tidal estuary. It is a 2 minute ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails and near woodland walks and nature reserves.
