Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Tyn Y Benrhos is a stunning Welsh stone cottage situated in its own grounds, in Coed Y Brenin forest, near Dolgellau. You have access to the entire property, with enclosed garden for up to 2 dogs and 8 acres of fields, woodlands and a river to explore. Here you are perfectly located for an active holiday whether it be walking, running or cycling. If you just want to relax there is plenty of opportunity to do that too. We do not live on site but live about 20 mins away and are on hand if needed.

Maximum of two well behaved dogs welcome. 2 onsite private parking spaces which is a rarity in Barmouth near the harbour. The Town house is fully equipped and modern. Llwyncelyn is a delightful traditional slate cottage nestling on the side of the Dyfi Valley. It is situated above the village of Dinas Mawddwy, easily accessed off the A470 and offers stunning views across and along the Dyfi Valley both from the cottage and the enclosed garden. It provides the perfect base from which to discover Southern Snowdonia, in all its glorious seasons. Not equiped for chidren. We generally accept dogs(maximum 2) but reserve the right to occasionally say no!

High above the dyfi valley , barn conversion holiday cottage with spectacular views of the dyfi valley and cader idris. Off grid, powered by wind and the sun. Sleeps 8 in three double beds, and two single beds. Two Ground floor bedrooms (double and twin) , one loft bedroom with double bed and a mezzanine sleeping area with a double bed above the main living space. Bathroom and wet room on the ground floor. Great Walking, Mountain Biking and Trail Running trails from the doorstep.

The Watermill and Granary date from the 15th century and both cottages retain many original features. The cottages and caravan are spacious, cosy and, being next to each other, are ideal for families, friends and professionals. They are fully equipped with all essentials. A cosy self catering cottage in attractive rural location near the river Dulas. Within walking distance of the old market town of Machynlleth and railway station. Close to mountains, rivers and coast. There is one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom sleeps 3 in bunk beds and a single bed. Downstairs in the lounge is a double sofa bed. Heating is provided by storage heaters and a woodturning stove at cooler times of the year.
