Welcome to experience the magic of Lapland – the peace of nature, the Northern Lights, and the proximity of the river. Villa Poikkilahti is an atmospheric cottage for four people, only about 50 meters from the Tornionjoki River. From the cottage, there is a road leading to the beach, which is for your exclusive use. The river has a sandy bottom. In winter, there is a long sledding hill and a cross-country ski trail next to the cottage. If you are looking for a genuine Lapland cottage experience, a private beach, and memorable evenings with the northern lights and winter activities, this is the place for you❤️

Charming retro house by the sea

Relax with the family in peaceful, beautiful Båtskärsnäs, close to Frevisörens camping (Nordiclapland) with swimming and activities. Guest pets are welcome. At the accommodation, there is a wood-fired outdoor hot tub that can be pre-booked for a fee of SEK 500, it is usually possible to book it but please contact us in time to confirm this. Two kayaks are available to borrow. From Båtskärsnäs, boat trips also go out into the archipelago and in winter we have nice ice and ski trails. Kicks, sledges and snowshoes are available to borrow.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Mummolatunnelmaa near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. A well-equipped 1950s cozy frontman-style house. The house has a loft with a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a sauna area. The sauna section of the house has a room with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-heated sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 1970s and the surfaces of the sauna and shower room were renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 people. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

The perfect place to relax all year round: enjoy the sauna and lake views in summer or the clean Lappish air and the silence of nature in winter. Three bedrooms, a private sauna, and a large yard make this the perfect place to stay for the whole family or a group of friends. The center of Tornio and Haaparanta are about 30 km from the property, and Rovaniemi is about 90 km away.

The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.
