In the heart of a fishing village

In the island of Santo-Antao, the most beautiful of the Cape Verde islands, away from major international resorts and tourist subdivisions, the house is particularly well located sinceit is at the start or at the arrival (depending on the direction of the hike) of the magnificent and unmissable coastal path that goes from Ponta do Sol to Cruzinha small fishing village of 250 inhabitants. I recommend leaving Cruzinha with the morning aluguers to Ponta do Sol, and walk to the house.

Centrally located apartment

This charming apartment with sea views, is located in Cidade das Pompas in Pául, one of the most beautiful places on the island of Santo Antão. From here you will be at the beautiful valley of Paul. Ribeira Grande and Ponta do Sol are easily accessible. Just like Cova (crater) and Synagogue (natural pool and ruin) and Ribeira da Torre (valei). The hiker will find it here with beautiful hiking trails nearby and plenty of opportunity to explore this sprookey-like island on foot.

Casa Cogumelo is a traditional Cape Verdean Mountain House in Pico Da Cruz 1500m (Santo Antao Island) with exceptional views of the top of the island and the Bay of Mindelo. We offer the entire house (17 beds) and our assistant 6 days out of 7 for maintenance . Possibility of meals and picnic for hiking. Ideal departure for any hikes ( downhill to Paul, Saint Isabel, Janela, Ribeira da Tore, Ribeira Grande, Lagoa, Cova, and Porto Novo .
